We've got an even spread of game releases for this week's batch of On Shelves games, including a couple of downloadable ones. Big for handhelds this week would be Capcom's and Namco Bandai's brawler offerings on the PSP, Fate/Unlimited Codes (available via PSN) and Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, respectively. Ok, so after a one day delay, the latest US PlayStation Store update is now available for download. Headlining this week lineup is a new downloadable game Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao, three new PSOne classics including Tomb Raider 2 and SimCity 2000 and more. Also available this week are four new game demos for WET, Dirt 2, NHL 10 and F.E.A.R. 2.

Good news for the PSP community! Homebrew dev Yoshihiro is back to release DSONPSP, a Nintendo DS emulator for the PSP based on DeSmuME. The first beta version of the homebrew emulator was released by the dev yesterday and shortly thereafter, beta 2 was published to add more features in the homebrew.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has just announced yet another PSP-exclusive title, NBA 10 Inside. Though it's rather unusual for sports titles not to go multiplatform, SCEA promises that this one will offer "the most diverse and feature-rich handheld NBA action available." More after the jump.

Paul Theroux of the Telegraph could not forget the conversation that he had with Michael Jackson. Now that MJ has gone to that big Neverland in the sky, the journalist takes us back to the old interview, which revealed that eccentric as he was, Michael Jackson too was a sucker for video games. Not just any video game too - MJ loved MK.

Rock Band Unplugged is all set and rarin' to go (is in fact leaked already) as the full track list and DLC are revealed. There are a wide range of music to choose from, spanning five rockin' and rollin' decades, with the first batch of ten DCL tracks coming your way via the in-game music store once the game hits you on June 9, 2009.

It's the US PlayStation Store's turn now to roll the list out, and this week features two new downloadable games, two additional classics, and a whole lot of DLC. This week on the European PlayStation Store - some good DLCs coming your way. Street Fighter IV gets alternate costumes, and MotorStorm: Pacific Rift gets the Lunar Tec Signature Livery Pack. Bejeweled 2 and Zen Pinball are also now available for download, among others. While violent video games are getting bombarded with criticism and even legislations, an Iowa State research team finds that non-violent games may enhance pro-social behavior in players. The team, called the Insciences Organisation, conducted a study and found that players who play prosocial games behave more prosocially than those who play other forms. More in the full article.

A GameStop listing for Rock Band: Unplugged has revealed a partial list of playable tracks that'll come packaged with the game. The list, along with some game details, was on the back portion of the official box art shown in the GameStop listing.
