PlayStation Network - Image 1Sony has lofty goals for this fiscal year. Banking on the recent success of the PS3 Slim and the round of PS3 price cuts, Sony executive vice president Kaz Hirai has revealed that they plan to hit 13 million PS3s sold worldwide in FY09. They also expect the PlayStation Network to pull in revenues roughly thrice the profits they made last year. More after the jump.

LBP on PSP - Image 1It's been promised, it's been challenging, and now, it's coming. For real this time. LittleBigPlanet for the PSP is now ready to rock and waiting to pop into the Store. Hiccups may have prevented the game from showing up as scheduled, but Eric Levine and company are hoping to get it ready by later this week.

Vagrant Story - Image 1A solo dungeon crawl that puts you in control of a (quite literally) one man army, Vagrant Story's weapons creation system, deeply intricate plot, and Ashley Riot's sheer badassitude has cemented it as one of those games that you can rightly call a true PSOne classic. Soon, you'll be able to download it through the EU PlayStation Store. Hooray!

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Ah. First off let me just say that this Weekend Warrior is a particularly short one. But hey, we still heard some good PSP news over the week. Konami's finally announced that they're working on English demos for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, and for those that can read Japanese there's a God Eater demo on the way. Best news so far this week for me, though, is BlazBlue PSP. Hit the jump for this week's PSP Weekend Warrior edition.

PlayStation Network - Image 1This week's PlayStation Store Update is now live. The controversial Rock Band Nirvana track pack is here, so all you rockers out there are sure to enjoy the animated Kurt Cobain rockin' it out alive and well in this game. It's a double treat too as Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl's own band, Foo Fighters, also shares some love in this week's release. Other big releases include Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP, Trine's PS3 demo and Ghostbusters: The Video Game on the PSP. Full list awaits after the jump.

God Eater - Image 1It's been a while since we last heard about Namco Bandai's God Eater. If you know Japanese (or have enough trust in your ability to navigate a menu without understanding a thing about it), you'll get to do more than hear (or read) about it soon. You can get to play the demo.

Crimson Room Reverse - Image 1Crimson Room: Reverse is a PSP port of the popular Crimson Room flash game where players have to find their way out of a locked room. Japan already got it last year, and it looks like the US will be getting it as well.
