PlayStation Network - Image 1This week's PlayStation Store Update is now live. The controversial Rock Band Nirvana track pack is here, so all you rockers out there are sure to enjoy the animated Kurt Cobain rockin' it out alive and well in this game. It's a double treat too as Nirvana drummer, Dave Grohl's own band, Foo Fighters, also shares some love in this week's release. Other big releases include Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP, Trine's PS3 demo and Ghostbusters: The Video Game on the PSP. Full list awaits after the jump.

PlayStation Store - Image 1Mark this day, folks, because this is the day Metal Gear Solid officially sets its virtual foot onto the PSOne Classics service. At US$ 10, it's a steal if you just wanna play it. I've seen brand new boxed copies of this game being sold for almost US$ 200. No kidding. Also included in this update are a bunch of new Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour tracks. I have a softer spot for the former's picks, though, since it includes Spinal Tap songs. Gotta watch that movie again. It never gets old. Crank that dial up to 11 and check out the full list of new Store items after the jump.

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Much has been said about the UMD-less, sliding-screen PSP Go. Rumors and speculation will be put to the test next week during E3, but it seems a little bit of Sony's thunder was stolen by this week's biggest PSP-related headline: the alleged confirmation of the PSP Go in a suspiciously early release of Sony's own video mag, Qore. Read on for the rest of the PSP Weekend Warrior and have a look at the big news that graced these pages this week.

PSP Go - Image 1By now a lot of you have seen the shots of the new PSP Go in the Qore video I posted a while back. The video didn't really give us a great look at the new PSP model, however, so here are some better-looking press photos of the PSP Go. It actually doesn't seem that fugly anymore. It still looks like a black mylo though.

PSP Go? - Image 1OK folks, it's go time. PSP Go, that is. Images of the long-rumored handheld have supposedly surfaced thanks to an early release of Qore's June issue. Not just an image, there's even a shot of the pack and a video that mentions launch games.

PS Store - Image 1From teeny-weeny cyclopic warriors to lean, mean clawing machine, there's a lot of goods for you to choose from over at the PlayStation Store. We've got the update for you here right, and off the bat, I think I'd go for the free demo of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, just in case you haven't checked it out yet.

US PlayStation Store update - Image 1It's like Vin Diesel week on the PlayStation Store today, what with the guy starring in two of the four new game demos on the Store. It's all good, though, as I am really looking forward to Dark Athena. Things are pretty quiet on the PSP Store, though. Aside from the Resistance: Retribution demo, there's nothing really big there. Give us more PSOne Classics, at least, Sony!
