Monster Hunter Freedom Unite - Image 1If you managed to catch the video that Gino posted earlier, you'll know that Capcom's finally getting serious on promoting the Monster Hunter series outside Japan, beginning with Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Capcom's Ryozo Tsujimoto recently acknowledged to MCV that the lack of promotion for the series has been a bit of a problem of theirs, especially in Europe. That's why this time they're going all out to establish the brand in the UK.

Monster Hunter Freedom 2 was huge in Japan. With its looming September release in the U.S. and Europe, we managed to gather a few more details about the game from a 1UP interview with producer Ryozo Tsujimoto.

There are changes aplenty that differentiates Monster Hunter Freedom 2 from the second Monster Hunter title for the PS2. Monster Hunter Freedom 2 does include a lot of the content found in Monster Hunter 2 , but Tsujimoto emphasizes that it's nothing like a port. "It does feature a lot of that content, but it's a brand-new game, plus so much more."
