I got some bad news guys. Seems like we'll have to wait a bit longer for the next iteration of the SOCOM franchise to hit the PSP as Slant Slix has confirmed that SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 will be delayed until January next year.

The PSP Go remains a hot item this week. Nasayers still think it's going to fall flat on its non-face. Sony, for their part, is busy touting it as a success, throwing out some impressive -- yet ultimately still unsubstantiated -- sales numbers. While the "go or no go" tug of war is happening, unscrupulous types are capitalizing on the new handheld by releasing their own thinly-veiled knock off version. Sony has yet to release any hard numbers for the PSP Go, but according to Sony Computer Entertainment America, the latest PSP iteration is doing a bang up job of boosting sales for the PSP platform.

It's official folks! Sony has announced that the much awaited handheld version of LittleBigPlanet will finally hit the store shelves on November 17. But that's not all, SCEA also revealed the final packaging of the game for North America. Check it out after the jump.

To celebrate the launch of PSP Go, SCEA has decided to update the PlayStation Store a day early. PSP Go owners as well as the die hard PSP gamers will surely have plenty of reasons to celebrate this week as Sony promises to release over a hundred new PSP games including the PSP minis, that is now available for download. But if you're a PS3 owner, don't worry, there are plenty of stuff waiting for you. 

Uncool. Expensive. That's what Apple thinks of the PSP. That may well be, but thanks to TGS we heard a lot of good -- and frankly, some really bad -- news for the Sony handheld. The good news is that there are free games in store for those upgrading to the PSP Go. The bad news is that you won't be able to play your sizable collection of UMD games if you trade in your UM drive-equipped PSP just to have enough money for that darn Go. Sucks, right? Making it to the cover of a video game says a lot about an athlete's mad skills. With his awesome performance last season and many other creds under his belt, the Portland Trailblazers' Brandon Roy snagged the cover of the PSP-exclusive from SCEA, NBA 10: The Inside.

More bad news for PSP custom firmware users. Apparently, the upcoming Gran Turismo PSP will require you to have the latest firmware 6.00 installed before playing the game. More after the break.
