snake - Image 1Homebrew coder leviadragon has released his brand new homebrew game My Snake Pet for the NEO Summer Coding Compo 2009. The dev describes his homebrew game as a Tamagotchi like game but instead of a pet, you use Solid Snake.

Metal Gear Solid - Image 1Judging by the comments on that Metal Gear Solid movie post a while back, it seems a number of you guys like the thought of Christian bale playing Solid Snake. Got some bad news for you though (and good news for those who didn't want him in the movie): Bale says he hasn't been approached about the Metal Gear Solid movie.

Metal Gear Solid - Image 1If these new ESRB listings prove to be correct, we may be seeing Solid Snake again on the PS3. It won't be Old Snake, though, but Metal Gear Solid-era Snake, and he'll even be bringing along pre-steroids Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine from before she had a dye job.

Dodge the Squares - Image 1PSP homebrew developer xXChromeXx has released DTS MGS Edition v1.1. Basically, it's Dodge the Squares with Solid Snake and Raiden as characters you can choose from (Hmm, so this is what life is like after years and years of hiding under cardboard boxes... One day they're your friend; the next, they're out to get you). The game was coded in Lua and includes two modes: Classic and Coin.
