idaft - Image 1Homebrew coder Miles is back to release a new version of PSP Daft Punk, a homebrew soundboard based on iDaft that allows you to mashup Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" on the PSP. Now officially called iDaft for PSP, the trippy homebrew app now bares the official iDaft trademark.

PSP Homebrew Weekend Warrior - Image 1Another week's passed by in the realm of homebrew. The past seven days we saw update upon update for the more popular recent homebrew apps out there as well as a couple of new timewasters like the Daft Punk "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" soundboard and a new Etch-A-Sketch game. Here's a look back at the week in homebrew!

PSP Daft Punk - Image 1Ok, I've never really been a fan of soundboards, but there's always an exception - especially if it involves Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger". Here's a homebrew soundboard of the song for the PSP, based on the online Flash version (see iDaft) which I've been tripping on for the past couple of weeks. Now I can have it on my PSP! Woot! Just press a button and.... string those words!

PSP homebrew - Image 1Boring day in the life of PSP homebrew dev corytheidiot1, so he whips up a little app that'll let people make soundboards for their PSP. It's important to note that this app is the product of boredom, so it's not as good as it could be, but it gets the job done anyway. It's PSP Soundboard from the bored, give it a try.

Mario Soundboard

If you're looking for some quirky sounds to decorate your PSP with, look no further! Vermillion put up a Super Mario Soundboard for people to mess around with on their handhelds.

This set concentrates on Mario sounds so don't expect a lot of the other characters' voices to be present. In fact, Bowser, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Yoshi all have only one sound each. Mario, however, has 20 which are taken from either Mario 64 or Mario Kart 64. It's an eboot, so you shouldn't have any problems running it on 1.5, but don't hesitate to check the forums for additional instructions.

That being said, enjoy the sounds! Just don't play it too often before bedtime, or you'll wake up screaming "It's a-Me!" over and over again.
