Square Enix's Final Fantasy Dissidia is definitely shaping up to be one of the franchise's most gorgeous-looking games, and in this scan update of the upcoming title, it could also be construed as having the most awesome character roster ever. September is coming soon but for those eagerly awaiting the release of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, that's still very far. Don't worry though because you are not alone in your misery and we have here new scans from Japanese magazines Famitsu and V-Jump to keep our company. Square Enix set Crisis Core five years prior to the events in Final Fantasy VII and should make each and every FF fan understand everything that has transpired in the series. Aside from that, these scans confirmed that players will be able to obtain objects in various ways and then meld them to create new ones. Effects of certain objects can also be modified. It was also mentioned before that players are able to summon monsters provided that they possess the item associated with the monsters they want to call. Aside from that, the characters in Crisis Core will have a special memory fragment that is unique and related to them. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be released in Japan on September 13. It was recently announced that there will be a Crisis Core Special Pack bundled with the redesigned PlayStation Portable. See the rest of the scans after the jump! |

Bandai has recently released the first batch of images from Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road. Here's a scan of the shots as they appeared in the Japanese Magazine V-Jump:
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai Another Road was previously spotted as a listing on Gamestop earlier this month. While the Gamestop listing had the game slated for a March 20 release, JeuxFrance says that the game will be released in Spring 2007 in Japan. There's still no word on this game's multiplayer features or what changes have been made to the character lineup, but keep checking back here on QJ for more details. We'll keep you guys posted as soon as more info comes up. |

After its playable demo during the recent Jump Festa in Japan, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is getting more and more fans (both old and new FF-fans alike) ecstatic. The demo has two playable modes, one involving an invasion of Wutai - that's Yuffie's hometown - and another that involves a battle with Ifrit.Speaking of combat, this Square Enix title is an action-RPG and will be far different from the turn-based battles of the original FFVII. Kind of like a real-time active-time sort of deal involving using up Action Points and a random Slot system. While this scan is in Japanese, you don't need to understand the text just to get all excited. It's a scan from "V-Jump" and has some stills of cinematics (which we've seen before) and a couple of new gameplay screenshots thrown in... curiouser and curiouser... The Japanese release this Spring isn't too far off, but what most of us wonder is when it'll come over to our side of the world. Don't worry, we'll get more info on this soon enough. Keep the materia in your pocket and watch this space! |
