XviD4PSP - Image 1aDcOoL dropped a little something at our mailbox today and told us that Winnydows has released v4.105 of his nifty video converting homebrew app for the PSP, XviD4PSP.

After giving us v4.104 on Valentine's Day, Winnydows is back with yet another bumped up version of his app which makes autocropping faster and fixed aspect detection for all NTSC DVD (to name a few). Here's the full list of stuff that's changed in 4.105...

Changelog:
  • In formats MPEG-2 PAL and MPEG-2 NTSC now possible create 16:9 files.
  • Fixed aspect detection for all NTSC DVD.
  • Autocrop now work faster.
  • DGIndex updated to 1.4.9 beta 14.
  • VirtualDub updated to 1.7.1.
  • NeroAacEnc updated to 1.0.7.0.
  • AAC audio encoding now without sound extraction!
  • MP4 PSP 480 enhanced and work on long files (now quality = PMP).
  • 1-pass x264 encoding arguments now more correct.
  • Mencoder updated to r22223.
  • Now in file path may be more than 255 symbols.
  • File info now loaded on job edit too.
As of writing, Winnydows hasn't put up the file for download yet. So make sure you stay tuned 'cuz we will update this once we get hold of the file.

UPDATE: As promised, we now have the .exe file for XviD4PSP 4.105. Based on your response to Winnydows' app, we're guessing we won't even need to say that this was worth the wait. So go on, download XviD4PSP 4.105 now. Kudos to Charles Tovar for the heads up.

Here we go! - Image 1

Despite the fact that it's been around for quite a while now, it looks like people are still spreading the GripShift love... and just in time for Valentine's, too! Over at the GripShift website, the folks from Sidhe Interactive have recently featured a fan-made custom track that was submitted to them. Created with the in-game track editor, the entire Valentine's day track still manages to stay within the 200-piece limit, AND still get points for being cute.

Dubbed as "Falling In Love", the custom track includes a whole set of obstacles, which should send some particularly imaginative people into fits of metaphors and allegories. If you're not into that kind of thing, though, then we'll just warn you that it's pretty easy to fall off the track, and watch out for those mechanical crushers.

The track is up for download over at the GripShift website, and is available in US, European/Australian, and Japanese editions.
