XSEED Games has finally announced the official release date of their speed RPG title, Half-Minute Hero.. The PSP exclusive game will be released on October 13 to retailers across North America and on October 22 for PSN.

Come tomorrow, PSP gamers can try their hand out on XSEED Games' speed RPG title, Half-Minute Hero. No, the full game isn't launching yet, but the demo will be.

Don't look now, but it's another four-game batch for this week, with the exclusion of the digital-only releases. This week's biggest titles come from the Watchmen, as they get released into different titles for the PS3 and Xbox 360 respectively. Doh Whang from XSEED Games blogged about the changes adopted into the US edition of Valhalla Knights 2. The changes were oriented to speeding up the pacing of the game to a more "US-friendly" level. They seem to have met with... some... success. See the list of changes in te full article.

XSEED Games has released a couple of new Valhalla Knights 2 videos for PSP gamers' consumption. These videos take a look at the game's online versus and co-op modes, two features that will bring in some added depth to a game that already takes a reported 60 to 80 hours to finish. We all have, at one point, come across funky Engrish translations. This has always been present in translated games, and it really is quite interesting how developers deal with the issue of localization. Doh Whang of XSEED Games provide an inside look at how the whole process works, in Valhalla Knights 2 in particular. And just for kicks, we've included some funny translations from various animes.

Those waiting for the U.S. arrival of Valhalla Knights 2 will want to prepare for the long haul, given the game will reportedly require 80 hours of playing to finish. AQ Interactive's most recent financial report has shed some light on the company's upcoming games. For this fiscal year, three DS titles (one of which is Blue Dragon Plus), an unnamed Wii title, and four portable games from Xseed are slated to hit North America. More in the full article.
