Xsjado7 informed us earlier that work has been completed on what seems to be the first theme flasher application for Auraomega's Project4 XMB replacement. The application handles very much like a standard XMB flasher app, and is current capable of handling up to three themes at the same time. Details are available in the full article. Having fun beating to the tune of Xsjado7's VDrum homebrew game? For the guys who find the game's tracks getting bland and seek to inject their own music, we've got good news. Tanos has recently set up a tutorial that will instruct you on the steps you'll need to take to install your own songs in VDrum. More details regarding this are available in the full article. |

Homebrew developer Xsjado7 has just dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released VDrum v1.7. We really had fun with this drum kit simulator and we're quire sure you'll love it as well. It doesn't matter if you can't carry a tune as the joy of hearing drum beats coming from our PSP is well worth the time of installing Xsjado7's VDrum v1.7.
Anyway, while several new additions have been added to version 1.7, Xsjado7 is asking users for feedback and positive criticisms to further improve VDrum. Here are the changes made to this build:

PSP homebrew developer Xsjado7 dropped by the forums earlier to announce that VDrum has just been updated to version 1.5. For the readers tuning in on this app for the first time, VDrum is a basically a drum simulator for your PSP, and has each button on your handheld mapped to a specific drum.Version 1.5 of this application carries two handy new features:

Homebrew developer Xsjado7 has just released VDrum 1.0 for the PSP. The creator of the program pointed out that this is very different from other drum simulators (such as PSPRhythm and PSP Kick) due to the fact that each button is mapped to a different drum. The application looks to have a lot of promise, emulating most of the functions a person would expect from a drum kit. The controls were a bit difficult to get used to at first but quickly became second nature after a few minutes of play. The GUI is pretty basic but works due to the nature of this program. If you plan on trying out this homebrew, you might want to use headphones because the sound is a bit weak with the built-in speakers of the PSP. This program is a very solid effort from Xsjado7 and one that musicians will enjoy. It makes this blogger wonder at the possibilities of this homebrew when paired up with a synthesizer (to simulate a bass guitar) and a Nintendo DS loaded with Jam Sessions.
