StrmnNrmn Daedalus PSP - Image 1While most of the coders out there work within the same circles, one of them seems to be standing on the outside, causing his own storm of sorts. External from most of the drama, StrmnNrmn is happily living in his own world, giving us one of the greatest homebrew emulator projects for the PSP: the Nintendo 64 emulator, Deadalus PSP. As a tribute to Daedalus' third year anniversary this month, here's your QuickGuide for reminiscing (or catching up!) on the life and times of StrmnNrmn so far. Strap into your seats, we're heading into the eye of the storm!

DeadalusThe DaedalusX64 team is back with a quick update for the latest beta version of their DeadalusX64 emulator for the PSP. As Kreationz states, this update is just a quick fix, but it's still recommended that you update your version of Beta 2 to this one. Quick fix as it may be, just look at that changelog in the full article, man.

psp homebrewThere's been quite a handful of homebrew Legend of Zelda clones for the PSP before, and here comes a new one: Zelda: The Return from French PSP coder, Darksidious (same guy who did MakeFile Maker!). This release is just a demo for the full game - a Lua-coded game at that - and it involves another quest to save Princess Zelda.

DaedalusX64 - Image 1Ok, so we don't quite have the video from Shinydude100 and the rest of the DaedalusX64 team just yet, however, we get more screens. From what we've seen yesterday, Mario 64 was already looking ace, and now we get to see GoldenEye 007 running on Alpha 1 too! Kreationz also elaborated more on GoldenEye's special kind of rendering and it looks like he's working well into Alpha 2 and 3 development now - he even got Legend of Zelda: OoT running back up to R13 speeds!

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - Image 1Sounds like a dream? Shinydude100 at the Daedalus X64 forums is confident that he can run Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at over 25fps. He's not giving any further details just yet, but he's got plans underway and we'd love to see him succeed.
