The homebrew game Funky Kong is Zora_182's own take to the classic arcade game Donkey Kong. But instead of simply porting it to the PlayStation Portable, the coder decided to add several changes and give it a new spin.

PSP Homebrew developer Zora_182 has released his new game (well, a new game based on an old one): Funky Kong! As you might have guessed, it's based on the classic Donkey Kong arcade game. Zora_182 is also the author of the Super Mario Bros. Platformer (SMBPSPlatformer v0.03).

Funky Kong is still in beta form but Zora_182 says that it's playable even if it's still a little buggy.

Who doesn't love Mario? No-one hates Mario, so this next one will definitely make your day a little brighter. Homebrew coder Zora_182 just released a new version of SMBPSPlatformer.

The dev wasn't able to come up with a changelog for v0.03. However Zora_182 said this about the new version of this addictive game: "I re-did the texts, makes the game go smoother, meaning that it crashes less often. I also added a little extra, so enjoy!" We tried the game a couple of minutes ago and we're still playing it now. Hey! It's Mario!

Anyway, the game's premise is as classic as ever: Mario is on his way to visit Princess Peach one day only to find out that the princess was captured yet again by Bowser. Are you ready for yet another adventure? SMBPSPlatformer v0.03 can be downloaded below. Take note though that Bowser has a lot up his sleeves!
