Game Search Function Added To Ad-Hoc Party - Image 1Ad-Hoc party got a new feature today that allows gamers to search for other people playing the same game, making it much easier to join a room for multiplayer. Makes you wonder how they forgot to put it in when the service launched.

GundamRevealed last week in Famitsu was Namco Bandai's portable version of the Arcade hit, Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna. So how do you cram an Arcade unit (with its panoramic 180-degree display and online matches) onto a UMD for the PSP? DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY - Image 1While Japan gets Dissidia: Final Fantasy (legally) today, we finally get news of the North American version. Final Fantasy fans can expect the game to come out mid-year 2009. In the meantime, here are new PSP themes from Square Enix to tide you over:

Monster Hunter - Image 1According to a Capcom spokesperson, their upcoming Monster Hunter 3 may be getting some platform releases on other consoles too. In an interview with a Chinese magazine, the Capcom rep mentioned that "the decision of Monster Hunter 3's Wii-exclusivity is not yet final." Which makes the PS3 a likely candidate. More so, we could also end up with another portable Monster Hunter game too, once MH3 gets released.

Higurashi Daybreak - Image 1SCEJ has announced that Higurashi Daybreak on the PSP is now part of the official list of games supporting the Ad hoc Party service. Looks like gamers in Japan finally have some added incentive in sitting through those load times. The PSP port of the PC game also has a demo already available on the PlayStation Network. The demo is around 80MB huge, and is currently only available in Japan.

Ad hoc Party - Image 1When announced, the Ad hoc Party feature was only confirmed to be supported by one title:  Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G. Soon after, Phantasy Star Portable was also announced to also support it. And hey - just yesterday, Dissidia: Final Fantasy too! The list of games using the Ad hoc Party feature is a trickling stream, but now, we have quite a torrent: not just one additional game is added to the list - and not two, three, or four either - we've got a hefty sum of over 30 additional titles!
