PSP owners who are also Lollapalooza junkies are in for a treat. Sony has hooked up with the music festival to allow fans access to Lollapalooza wallpapers, Perry Farrell interviews and music compilations by artists participating in the massive gathering of over 130 bands from August 4 to 6 in Chicago. Festival program guide can be loaded into your PSP, which will be very handy for the 8-stage affair. The guide includes information about participating artists, performance schedule, and the must-have festival map. For the very young PSP owners who have no idea about Lollapalooza, it's an American music festival that features alternative rock, rap, and punk rock bands. Dance and comedy performances, as well as craft booths are some of the highlights of the fest. Organized in 1991 by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza encapsulated American youth culture for the 1990s, very much the same way Woodstock did for the 1960s. The Lollapalooza Generation is also referred to as Generation X. |

I don't care what Alejandro Quan-Madrid has to say about Loco Roco - racist or not, the fact remains that Loco Roco
is one of the cutest games ever to cross our PSP lives. Just looking at
those cute yellow blobby things sure make my day. And their smiles -
so, so...endearing! (I have to stop myself from typing the word "cute"
in every sentence)
Although I'm currently on a Hello Kitty merchandise binge (okay, I admit, I never outgrew my addiction to the Japanese feline), I wouldn't mind getting one (or, better, all) of these uber enticing Loco Roco merchandise.

A self-confessed Metal Gear fanatic, Grunty Thirst came up with this theme pack to profess his rabid addiction to the MGS lore. One thing though, he warns interested users that "this download contains the theme pack ONLY. The user must already be accustomed with ThemePSP and where to put the files." Sodr's ThemePSP 1.1 homebrew is already included in the link below, but if you want more information about it, just click here. Remember, before installing this in your PSP, make sure you know exactly what you're doing. We'll repeat the same warning we provided in the ThemePSP v1.1 release: Please be aware of the fact that misuse of the flash could brick your PSP. Like what Solid Snake said in the E3 demo of upcoming PS3 title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, "War has changed...". Maybe it's time we polish our PSPs to match those changes, or maybe you should try it just for the "cool" factor of having Raiden, Otacon, Meryl Silverburgh, Liquid Ocelot, and of course Solid Snake flashing in your PSPs.
