If you're the kind of coder who uses colors and wants the perfect color scheme without having to go through the hassle of finding out what "Dodger Blue" is, then you may want to take a look at andyauff's Color Studio. Color Studio is an application that allows you to change the red, green, and blue variables on your screen, instantly allowing you to see the color you're making. Unlike conventional color lists, the beauty of this application is that you can easily create the color you want just by changing the variables. As andyauff notes, you can take the numbers down for future reference (add your own name to your notes so you don't forget), or take a screenshot of the color you've created, which is shown on the bottom half of the PSP's screen. The readme file in the "colorstudio" folder has instructions for using the application and taking screenshots. Note, however, that you can only take one screenshot before it gets overwritten, so you might want to check to see if it works with a screen capture application like iR Shell, just in case you want to save more than one color. Homebrew developer andyauff dropped by the QJ.NET PSP Development forum recently and released his new creation - Making a Legend. Those of you who lurk in our forums should remember that there was a certain thread looking for GFX creators for homebrew games. Well, Making a Legend is that thread's baby. Anyway, the game is currently on Alpha version. Despite that, it is already packed with a lot of features and andyauff added that more will be included in the next versions. As of now, you can do the following in Making a Legend Alpha version:

andyauff has just informed us that he has rolled out v0.05 of his nifty instructional PSP brew, Todo Español. If you're like this writer here who didn't pay much attention to Señora back in Spanish 101 (and is now filled with regret for doing so, if I might add), you might wanna take heed of this release. As you probably can tell already, Todo Español is an app that helps you learn Spanish with ease via a series of carefully planned vocabulary lessons. andyauff says that there are really no major updates and changes in this one, but he thought that the new L-trigger functionality should prove to be useful for users. Here's the full list of changes for this version... Changelog:

If you fancy learning Spanish for whatever reason - whether it be for a holiday, for school, if you already know a bit of Spanish and would like to brush up on your skills or even if you just want to be able to describe yourself as 'multilingual' - then andyauff's Todo Espanol could be the app for you. It's a LUA application coded to help those who want to learn Spanish through the use of a series of carefully-planned vocabulary and lessons. It's pretty simple at the moment, which is ideal for beginners but the developer andyauff (a high school sophomore Spanish student) has plans to update this app with a large database of Spanish vocabulary and maybe even an English-Spanish and Spanish-English dictionary. If you are going on holiday to Spain anytime soon, then this could prove useful. Thanks for the tip CoolRaccoon! Download: [Todo Espanol v0.01] View: [Forum release thread] |
