Homebrew coder bboyjcm is back with a new update for his Homebrew Portal Launcher, a homebrew app  that allows you to boot portals directly via the game folder of your PSP. The new update has added new features like HighMemoryMod V4 support courtesy of P86 and is said to be much faster than the initial release.

Why would you want to block your PSP's power switch? Well, for one, it helps prevent you (or your whacked out little brother or sister) from accidentally shutting down your PSP and losing all that game progress. If you're tired of all that, this brew will be a godsend.

Here's a nice treat for those who've been in the homebrew scene for some time now (and I mean since circa 2006). If you remember, there was a game called 2D Paintball made by Mr.Game. Dark AleX has released a fix for a bug in CFW 5.00 M33's PSX extension. According to Dark AleX, the bug is sometimes caused by certain icons. You can manually fix it by replacing the file with the PRX below. More after the link.

Homebrew developer bboyjcm sent QJ.NET an email, informing us that a new build of the PlayStation Portable portal RSPortal has just been created, bumping it up to version 2.1.

For those who are hearing this application for the first time, RSPortal is actually a web portal program for Jagex Ltd.'s MMORP Runescape. The things added and improved to RSPortal v2.1 are listed in the full article via the "read more" link.

PSP Homebrew developer bboyjcm has just informed us that RSPortal has been updated to v2.0 Beta. RSPortal, in case you're wondering is actually a web portal for the Runescape MMORPG by Jagex Ltd. You can catch up on the portal's latest tweaks over in the full article.

PSP homebrew developer bboyjcm has just released a useful portal for Sony PSP owners who also like the Jagex Ltd.'s MMO, Runescape. It's called RSPortal (Runescape PSP Portal) and it's in version Beta 1.

As you can probably tell from the homebrew application's title, RSPortal will allow for easy access to Runescape. It contains links to Hiscores, Forums, Chatroom, News, and Rules among other things so it's pretty nifty for those who like playing the said MMORPG. In this release, videos aren't included yet by the dev indicated that it will be included in a future release.
