Guitarway to Heaven Riffs - Image 1There are a lot of music games out there, and while it's cool to make-pretend that you're a rockstar, it's even better if you can actually play the instruments, right? This homebrew application from benjami and the rest of the RRS dev team aims to do just that. It's the Guitarway to Heaven Riffs application and its gonna help you learn how to jam those riffs out.

God of War downloadable demo - Image 1

To make up for the delay of God of War: Chain of Olympus, the guys at Ready at Dawn promised that there will be a downloadable demo coming this month on the PSP. This is according an announcement made by the European Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM).

The text is in Dutch, translated by Benjami in the PSP Demo Center forums. Aside from the promise of the demo, not much else is known about it - not even if it will have the same content as the UMD demo, which will feature the Cave of Eos level. The downloadable demo, if true, should be available at yourpsp.com this month.

The actual game still hasn't received a release date, but we'll let you know as soon as we get the updates.

Demo for Doko Demo Issho: Let's Gakkou! - Image 1

There's this video game title called Doko Demo Issho: Let's Gakkou! released in Japan almost a year ago. It never reached other regions so we thought that you'd be interested to know that we just found a demo for the game. There's a catch though - it's still in Japanese.

The title actually means "Everything's the Same: Let's Go to School!" and is a sequel to Doko Demo Issho (Always be with you). Basically, Doko Demo Issho is one those games that we could classify as "feel good" games. Gameplay involves being a teacher for a day, teaching Japanese words.

The demo was provided by Benjami, the same dude who recently gave the PlayStation Portable (PSP) community Ultimate PSP Demo Pack 3 which contains 22 video game demos all in all.

Take note that you should be on FW 3.40 to be able to play the demo.

Benjami has compiled and hex edited a very special PSP demo pack for everyone, which encompasses 380 MB worth of demo goodness into a handy package for your PSPs. His custom demos are currently making their rounds, but he's also decided to add some video to show just what he did with it.

Here's what he told us on the forums, with a little bit of editing for clarity's sake:

The Ultimate Demo Pack contains the latest demos for your PSP. They are not only hex edited for 2.8 and higher but they are edited in many other ways too. When you are selecting (on the xmb) a couple original demos from Sony, mostly you only see a boring icon with the demo name next to it. What i do: make a nice background, add music, and if I can find one, I put the moving icon in it too, so it looks much better!

It's pretty handy what he does, and for anyone using 3.03 and above, you can rest assured knowing that it will work on your PSPs. In any case, check the video below for a sampling of what he's done to the demos themselves. Enjoy!
