Sure, they're getting a lot of flak about their supposed nickel-and-diming ways right now, but Capcom has some pretty good news for PS3 and PSP owners who still love playing through old PSOne games.

After Sony awarded Capcom with their very own section in the PS Store, Capcom's been in a bit of a mad dash to get some content up online. Already, we hear that they're going to have a Classics lineup to release as DLC, but what else can we expect from Capcom here on out?

Capcom, the studio that brought us the Street Fighter franchise (thank the video game gods for that), has revealed that they might be working on WiiWare titles in the future. They are also open to acquiring new studios in the future. Details in the full article.

A couple of days back, we reported on a rumor that Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law's release has been moved to January. Sorry to tell you guys, but we just found confirmation that the upcoming Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation Portable video game from Capcom is indeed going to be late.

We found said confirmation on the Capcom Forums. Christian Svensson, Senior Director of Strategic Planning & Research answered the inquiry about Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law's release date:

The game is and has been finished, submitted and approved, however we felt releasing the game on the same day 112 other SKUs released was not ideal for its chances. Retail buyers agreed.

As such, we've opted to move the title out into a slightly cleaner release window. This will allow us to get on more shelves, do a bit more outreach to the media and hopefully get the fans in on the action a bit more.

It looks to be a smart move for Capcom for not wanting their game to get lost on the holidays' shelves. We'll have to wait some more as January is still a long way off. We'll be keeping an eye out for the new release date for Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, and more info so stay tuned.

It was revealed a couple of days ago that one of Capcom's bombshells is actually the return of Bionic Commando on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. We say "one" because it was announced today by the legendary video game development studio that more are dropping in this week.

"You saw one announcement today... You will see another announcement at the countdown timer on Wednesday. You'll see a slew of other announcements/updates after the media embargo lifts on Thursday, Friday or so", promised Capcom's Director of Strategic Planning and Research Christian Svensson.

Aside from major graphical overhaul, the next-gen Bionic Commando will also feature a lot of gameplay mechanic revamps and a new storyline. If that announcement made your day, we suggest checking back here at QJ.NET to hear about the other announcements in the coming days.

Fans are speculating that due to the recent success of Resident Evil, Capcom may be on its way to developing a Resident Evil title for the PlayStation Portable. Given the return of Bionic Commando, however, you can never really be sure what exciting things are up Capcom's sleeves.

April 12 is a few winks away and hopefully, Capcom and Christian Svensson will fulfill their promise of a game-related announcement. For now, we would have to make do with other Capcom announcements. Checking out German gaming site, Gamefront, we managed to find a PAL schedule of Capcom game releases. Here are the titles that our European friends could expect.
