Image courtesy of moon-man.com - Image 1Microsoft Europe's David Gosen has questioned the gaming industry's seasonal approach to game releases in a recent interview with MCV. According to Gosen, the focus on Q4 and Christmas releases has put the sustainability of new IP into question, and that a second or third release window will be good news for the industry. Great news for my wallet as well, since I won't have to buy all the major releases I want in one big go. More after the jump.

Porn in PSP - Image 1It's a big day for any kid to be getting a gaming platform. For Eliso Tovar of Florida, the big day came as a late Christmas present - his mom took him to a Wal-Mart in Manatee County to get a brand new PSP! All was okay, until he boots it up for the first time and finds a naked woman on the screen. Afraid of getting grounded, he ran to his mom, who found yet more porn in the memory card.

prinny-dood - Image 1NIS America's Christmas card is awfully cute... even if it does look like a slow motion capture of a Prinny being run over.

Speaking of Prinny, the little feller gets to star in his very own game this February so we figured y'all might want to have a gander at some brand spankin' new screenies. 'Aint the holidays grand?

Sony PlayStation - Image 1 We are finally seeing the first real effects of Sony's financial downturn. They've announced that they will be axing 16,000 jobs as part of their effort to improve their finances. The PlayStation group is currently under review for structural changes as well.

Christmas is looking bleak this year.

Zill O'lll Infinite Plus Delayed in Japan - Image 1You might have heard that Zill O'll, a rather obscure PS2 RPG game for anywhere but Japan, is getting a PSP port. Santa was supposed to deliver it to stores in Japan on Christmas Day, but Koei said they had to delay the game to January 22.
