Circuit City is allegedly selling the Star Wars Battlefront PSP pack before its street date. On the slickdeals.net forum, poster 4orced4door claims to have purchased the product already. He has also posted pictures of both the item and the receipt showing that it came from the said video game shop.
Some posters have reportedly found that other stores, such as Target and TRU, were doing the same thing. There has been no official statement from LucasArts or Rebellion Developments regarding this, but we'll keep you posted on any updates regarding it. If you were to pick up one of the Limited Edition Star Wars Battlefront Entertainment Packs, you will be getting a Ceramic White PSP with a Darth Vader Silkscreen design on the back, a copy of Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, an AC adaptor, and a battery pack. The release date of the game is still listed at October 9, so you might want to wait till then before heading over to the store to get one just to be sure. |

Over at online retail store Amazon, we noticed that the price for Burnout Dominator has already dropped to US$ 19.99. The title has only been available for a couple of months now, so this is a great thing for PSP owners who have yet to get a copy. It's never been this cheaper to do some Kah Ra Shin.More retail outlets apart from Amazon have also done the same. You can currently purchase Burnout Dominator for the same price at Gamestop, Circuit City, and even at Best Buy. If you happen to find other listings, kindly inform the rest of us through the comments section below. Burnout Dominator is another entry to the Burnout franchise from Electronic Arts (EA). Compared to its predecessor, Dominator has retained most features fans have loved and grown accustomed to in the first game. The ones we really enjoyed were the Maniac Mode as well as the Burnout combos and Boost chaining. |

Here's a pretty cool deal. The PSP title Guilty Gear Judgment, ARC System Works and Majesco's handheld iteration in the popular fighting series, is now going for a mere US$ 13 at Circuit City.Of course, keep in mind that that's the base price. The game's not available for in-store pickup, so interested gamers will have to get it shipped for about US$ 4, depending on where it has to be shipped to. Anyway, Guilty Gear Judgment's been out in the U.S. and Japan since last year, but in case you haven't tried it out yet, here's a run-down of the game's features:

If you've been planning to get a handheld console, now may be a good time. Circuit City is currently offering PSPs for US$ 169.99 while the DS Lites are at US$ 129.99. Purchasing either of the two will earn you a free game worth $ 19.99 or less. There are plenty of titles worth trying out with a low price tag. For the PSP, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition can satisfy your need for speed. Fight Night Round 3 is for avid boxing fans, while GTA: Liberty City Stories is for those who want to take the action beyond fist fighting. Lots of highly praised games for the DS can be yours for free too, like Guilty Gear Dust Strikers, Cooking Mama, Sonic Rush, and Big Brain Academy. A couple of these have been on sale, but still, the best things in life are free. As people say, you can never be too early. If buying online is your thing, Circuit City is a good place to start your handheld adventures. |

For those who haven't picked up a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories for the PSP, you're in luck. Circuit City has announced a US$ 10.00 price cut on the game, bringing it down to on US$ 19.99.A part of the GTA series, this game was released last year and was generally well received by the PSP community. Vice City Stories has also won the "Best Licensed Soundtrack" award from IGN despite the average ratings from most gaming sites and magazines. With similar gameplay to the rest of the games in the series, improved graphics, and a combat system overhaul, it is a worthy addition to any PSP gaming collection. If you've been planning on picking up this game, this may be the perfect time to do so. You can purchase the game by simply heading over to the Circuit City website through our Via link. |

The Circuit City online retailer has gone on another discount binge again, as we report three PSP titles being sold for just US$ 15. First up is Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, which has seen similar discount bids at stores like Best Buy and GameStop, although this seems to be one of the better deals we've seen today. The second game up for grabs is The Warriors, a PSP port of the PS2 game, in turn based on the 1979 Paramount film. The third deal of the moment is for Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, a game which some folks may remember making it into the PSP's list of Greatest Hits games from last year. For the guys who missed out on these games, now may be a good time to try them out for yourselves. Keep in touch in case we hear more regarding bang-for-the-buck bargains like these. |

Major electronics retail chain Circuit City is currently having a sale on pre-selected UMD movies. We know a number of you guys are not so keen on buying movies for your PlayStation Portable (PSP), save maybe for Advent Children: Final Fantasy VII, but for those who are interested, here's the deal.
From here on until March 17, 2007, you can buy each UMD movie for just US$ 10. And if you have the time and in the mood to physically walk inside a retail store, you get two UMDs for the same price. According to the ad, the total number of movies on sale is 16, but the flyer, as well as the listing, only shows 12. Here are the 12 movies included in the list; wait for further confirmation about the missing 4 titles.
