The countdown came to a close, and the CyberConnect2 site saw the launch of the official site for .hack//Link. So the rumors going around were true after all - the manga is gonna have a PSP game. Good stuff, you might want to check it out. |

One of Namco Bandai's bigger successes on Sony's PlayStation 2 is the .hack
video game series. For those not familiar with it, it is part of a much
larger multimedia franchise simply known as .hack that encompasses
manga, card games, anime, and most importantly , video games. With that in mind and knowing the success the franchise had and is still having, we can't imagine Namco Bandai stopping making games for the series in the near future. More on this after the jump. |

If you've been on the look out for a good fighting game for the PSP, then you might want to consider Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes. Developed by CyberConnect2 for a U.S. and Europe release, this game offers both single and multiplayer team-based battles that fans of the series will appreciate. The graphics of the game look pretty sharp and polished. The cel-shaded animation lends to the anime-ish theme of the game and should please both fighting game and anime enthusiasts alike. The combat system is now deeper as it introduces new innovations, such as the ability to create and tweak their own ninja fighting force. In addition to this, the character power-up feature can now be utilized to unleash different team attacks based on the team you built. If you plan on picking up Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Heroes, it's slated to be out this August 28 in the U.S. and September in Europe. While waiting for its release, here are some screenshots of the game for you. The rest of the screens await after the jump! |

We've seen a number of video games adaptations for the popular manga and anime Naruto, but we never seem to get enough, can we? Today we've got the trailer for Naruto: Ultimate Fighting Heroes.
So what can we expect from the PlayStation Portable title? Naruto: Ultimate Fighting Heroes boasts of a three on three versus mode and a number of fighting arenas - which is basically anywhere. The trailer shows some snippets of what's to come, fighting on a wire included. It also shows the team battles where players can assemble their very own ninja fighting team. (Naruto, Hinata, and Neji wouldn't do so bad, don't you think?) Anyway, before this writer regales you on more trios - check out the trailer below. Naruto: Ultimate Fighting Heroes from Namco Bandai and CyberConnect2 is set to appear on the shelves come August of this year. |
