Following last week's announcement of PS3's 2009 line-up, we now have SCEA's PSP press release: LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm, Rock Band - all confirmed! Plus an all-new Assassin's Creed too! We also get to see a new PSP color too! Some Lilac luvin' for the ladies, mmm hmm!

Big things up for Square Enix! They've just set up shop in LA, and in an interview, SE US president John Yamamoto has confided their plans: the LA studio is going digital. He also revealed the general direction the corporation is going - global markets and what not. But in what could be called as one of the boldest statements ever made in the industry, he's already declaring the exclusivity war officially over. Like whoa.

SCEJ's little dungeon management game, Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2, is getting downloadable content. More stages and edible heroes for all!

The last time we saw this dastardly duo, they were up in the alps. This week, the pair of Rajang apes are back in the arena for another round as Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G's new downloadable content for Japan. This week's DLC also coincides with the re-release of the MHP 2nd G in retail, but this time under Japan's "The Best" label for the PSP (which already includes the likes of Jeanne d'Arc and Tekken: DR).

Giving the PSP direct access to the PlayStation Store may not kill the UMD disc, according to Sony, but it's certainly going to change the way games are distributed. With digital distribution, Sony hopes to ignite a new breed of games to be released on the handheld.

I spy with my little eye: screens of Supreme King Jaden, Yubel, and Elemental Hero Bladedge. They're heading for the next installment in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX series for the PSP, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3, which is now also dated for Europe. More details in the full article.
