Get a load of these fresh new screens out of EA for their best-selling hockey game franchise, NHL 07. The addition of the revolutionary new Skill Stick system delivers unparalleled intuitive gameplay, making it less "arcadey". If it doesn't give you the illusion of actually being on the ice, I don't know what else will. Learn more about your players' skills by comparing them to their real world counterparts, using Player-Specific Behaviors. Or if you're more into the business aspect of the game, act as the General Manager in an enhanced Dynasty Mode. If that isn't exciting enough, Russian wonderboy and Left Wing for the Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin, who at the tender age of 16 surpassed the scoring record set by countryman Ilya Kovalchuk in the World Under-18 Junior Championships by scoring 14 goals and 4 assists in 8 games (he isn't nicknamed Alexander the Great for nothing), signed on as spokesman and cover athlete for the game.

Got enough musou to nail Mahjongg? In the tradition of portraying the Chinese classics, the Dynasty Warriors game for the PSP is taking a different turn compared to their PS2 counterpart. In the PSP, it's all about gambling. There is still no hint whether this is merely a side game in the Dynasty Warrior PSP game, however, Famitsu at least confirms that Dynasty Warriors will have a Mahjongg game for the PSP. For this game, you could play with your favorite generals. More so, using the PSP's Wireless LAN option, you can connect four players into this shuffling game. More than Mahjongg, the game would also feature other classic Chinese and Japanese games such as Go and Shogi. Players have the option to play either one of those games. There will be a story mode for players to explore, wherein, instead of going around town and causing a ruckus by killing all soldiers, you will challenge generals in those towns with either Go or Shogi. You may also adjust how you want to play the game, for example in go, you have an option to play it with handicap or not. This Famitsu feature on this coming Dynasty Warriors is definitely a laugh. If only it didn't have the release date of August 2006, I would have considered this as a joke. Nonetheless, this is a different dimension to Dynasty Warriors. If Dynasty Warriors aimed to at least teach its players the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", the historical Chinese war where this story was based from, then perhaps, with this game, Dynasty Warriors could teach its players a little more about Chinese culture, such as its games.
