The electric buzz of homebrew excitement is back in the air! The Noobz Team has confirmed that they will be joining forces with GripShift-exploiters MaTiAz and FreePlay to further develop the said exploit! It's a pre-announcement, which the Noobz Team don't normally do, but we're glad all the same for it.

Homebrew developer amrcidiot was kind enough to drop by and tell us that a new version to his neat homebrew guitar sim is now available for download with PSPlay v0.3.5. PSP Slim & Lite users will be glad to know that the latest build of this nifty app now supports it, so don't be shy about downloading it any longer.

Bumuckl's image editing homebrew app, Bermuda CS 9, now works with the PSP Slim thanks to fellow homebrew developer grafele. The app works with the eLoader, which is included with the download. More from the developer in the full article.

Those who've been with QJ.NET for quite some time now might remember the old homebrew game released by coder AdePSP called Deal or No Deal.

Coder amirulrudy12 released an updated version of Deal or No Deal. With this update, the game's firmware compatibility has been increased for custom firmwares 3.xx.

Can't install PSPMillionaire in your Sony PSP with custom firmware? If so, then this may be the fix that you need. JaX3RiR managed to spot what was causing the "corrupted data" error, and created a fix to solve the problem. Important notes and more details in the full article!

Homebrew developer xart has announced on the QJ.NET PSP Development forums that slimChoice is now at version 1.0.4. For the uninitiated, slimChoice is an eLoader menu that combines a hot look with some equally hot functions.

Those who have already had experience using eMenu should have no problem with using slimChoice since it uses the same control scheme. Here's a list of what's been added since version 1.0:

If you loved Sony PlayStation Portable homebrew developer xart's easyChoice application for the original PSP and you're wishing you could take it along as you upgrade to the PSP Slim, wish no more because xart has just released  slimChoice.

The developer dropped by the QJ Forums earlier and gave us an update on the his slimChoice v1.0. slimChoice is set to pack all of the core features of easyChoice that you loved. If you're not familiar with the aforementioned app, it gives your PSP a nice GUI (graphical user interface) that dishes out aesthetics as well as functionality.

Here are some highlights of xart's post regarding slimChoice v1.0

• Custom Firmware (3.51 M33 Recommended)
• Not compatible with eLoader as the internal workings for launching homebrew are not the same.
• No bootstrap yet, to be provided later or by a third party developer perhaps.
• MP3 Player on it's own, "Melody" is provided as a standalone and will be launched via Choice as well as the XMB.
• Rewritten from the ground up taken all the best stuff from easyChoice and getting rid of the not so good stuff in easyChoice.
• Uses the same button arrangement as eMenu so users of eLoader that have been using eMenu.
