We have some more screenshots of Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City for the PSP before it comes your way in a few more weeks. Blessed with great rides that you could customize and a very neat soundtrack, it has all the formulas for success. Plus, the game will feature actress/model Emmanuelle Vaugier, now that has to draw a lot of attention.

Just so you guys are in the know, the PSP version would have an exclusive content which includes a greater focus on team racing and three play modes - Crew Tag, Escape, and Delivery. If it has unique factors, it also has similarities with the console versions and they are -  exploring an open environment and the recruitment of drivers to help achieve the taste of sweet victory. So with that, let's just wait and see if one of EA's pride and joy lives up to expectations when it comes out.

The PSP version of Need for Speed: Carbon is a different road beast compared to its console counterparts. And this trailer proves it again with at least one point: its exclusive story mode's told in the form of a graphic novel. Hmmm... it seems quite similar to Need for Speed Underground 2's story presentation - and as opposed to Most Wanted's live-action FMVs, or the first Underground's CG cutscenes. (On a side note, we wonder how the artist will depict Carbon cover girl Emmanuelle Vaugier).

The PSP-exclusive content includes a greater emphasis on team racing (compared to the consoles), the three unique play modes (Crew Tag, Escape, and Delivery), and custom soundtracks. Just like in the consoles, players will explore an open environment, and recruit drivers to crush the competition and lead them to victory in high-speed, high-adrenaline racing through city streets and treacherous canyon passes.

Oh, and another thing unique to the PSP: it's called Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City now.

While news of actress Emmanuelle Vaugier making an appearance in Need For Speed: Carbon has already been confirmed, an official list of the available cars in the game has yet to be released. We do have an unofficial list, though, and while this isn't final, a good number of these cars will be playable.
