Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. The North American PSN update is now available. This week's PlayStation Store lineup has a variety of titles for all gamers. To start the list, you have the downloadable puzzler game Droplitz, a PS1 classic game Mobile Light Force, The BIGS 2 Demo, new add-on contents for High Velocity Bowling and LittleBigPlanet, four downloadable games for the PSP and more.

This is a much, much better line-up for our On Shelves section this week. As in MUCH. One, the Transformers are finally rolling out (unfortch, Megan Fox won't be included in your game purchase). Two, Fight Night Round 4 is also stepping into the ring to knock you out with. Three, The Conduit is also set to make waves on your Wii, and so is the Resident Evil Archives. And of course, the ever-present DS games for the kids. Yes, it doesn't just stop at three. Go ahead, check out what else is there this week.

Yep, you're not imagining it. That's really an ESRB page showing its rating for Wild Arms 2, and coming to the PlayStation Network to be made available to both the PS3 and the PSP.

We've got some major heroes on board this week, from those serving the country in full honor and glory, to childhood heroes. Marshmallow Men busting ghost agents (Ghostbusters: The Video Game), WWI fliers, they're all in this week's On Shelves list. Dig in and enjoy.

The ESRB's ratings page has done a bang-up job lately of giving us an idea of what big games are coming to the PSOne Classics service next. We saw Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid and we got 'em (although the latter is still launching this week), so there's no reason to believe that this new entry in the listings is bogus.

This year's E3 was truly one for the books. After the busy week we had last week, we here at QJ.NET decided to do a little digging to look for 25 excellent games under US$ 25 that were released last year in honor of this year's E3. If you just recently acquired your 7th gen console or handheld or if you're just looking for a great game to add in your collection, maybe you can take a look at these games.

No kidding, they sure made up for that drought the past how many weeks. And no, we don't mean just random Dream Series titles for the DS. We're talking real games here! Okay, wanna bet? Try Class of Heroes for the PSP, or the multiplatformer Prototype. You want lots of music? Take your pick from among Guitar Hero on Tour: Modern Hits, Rock Band: Unplugged and Classic Track Pack. How about sports? You're in the mood for some sporty action? We have golf, tennis, racing, pool. Take your pick. It's gonna be a loooooooooong list, so dive in right now for our On Shelves This Week of June 7 to 13, 2009.

When I say there are slim pickings this week, I mean it. The home consoles only get two releases, and there are no new games at all for the Wii and PSP. There's also only one release on PC, but since it's The Sims 3, it's sure to sell a bucketload by its lonesome. The only console not experiencing a game drought this week in the Nintendo DS. There really are no slow release weeks for the DS in terms of quantity, really. Read on for a list of this week's game releases.

Fans have been clamoring for it, and it looks like Square Enix and Sony will be delivering. Final Fantasy VII has been rated by the ESRB for PSP and PS3, which means we could be seeing it soon on the PlayStation Store as a PSOne Classic along with six other recently rated games.
