One of our readers Everett Bradford sent us a note about the new PSP mod that he came up with. Some of you may recognize him as the guy responsible for the push-activated shoulder lighting mod. This new one still includes the first trick, and Everett decided to include some cool new features as well.

The video below will show you that the power indicator, the WiFi indicator, and the memory stick indicator were all changed to blue. (Now we know what Everett's favorite color is.) Here's the short clip and after that, the Read link will take you to Everett's site for more information.

ShrekThe Jolly Green Giant is back. Nope, not the Hulk (Ultimate Alliance has him), but the "other" guy - Shrek's back again, and if you haven't seen the trailer yet, you might wanna check it out.

Activision's just announced the lineup of development studios that will be backing the game up as Shrek the Third makes its multi-platform launch in May - just enough time for you to see them movie version when it hits theatres this March.

Here's the developers:
As for the game and movie's story: Shrek (Mike Myers) and Fiona (Cameron Diaz) have to stand in as rulers for the Far Far Away kingdom when its heir disappears.

For them to return to their swamp, Shrek, Donkey (Eddie Murphy), and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) must go on a journey to find the lost heir, all the while as Fiona defends the Far Far Away Kingdom from a coup d 'etat launched by Prince Charming (Rupert Everett).

Glowy cool

Sometimes you win, sometimes you fail. In my case: making posts here at QJ.net. With Everett: making PSP mods. This mod by Everett is a definitely a win.

Take out your toolkit folks! Everett has this wicked cool mod for your PSP that can make those boring transparent shoulder buttons light up. This isn't your light-up-all-the-time glowy blue buttons mod, That's sort of 2-3 months old already. Everett's mod allows for the shoulder buttons to light up when pushed. Below are a few random screens of him working on the mod. As the danger of you ruining your PSP is sort of obvious, we strongly advise you do proceed with this only if you are confident with your soldering/drilling "skillz."
