God Eater - Image 1It's been a while since we last heard about Namco Bandai's God Eater. If you know Japanese (or have enough trust in your ability to navigate a menu without understanding a thing about it), you'll get to do more than hear (or read) about it soon. You can get to play the demo.

consoles - Image 1It's numbers time yet again! Famitsu's come out with their hardware sales charts, albeit a bit late this week. Still on top: DSi. And what's this we see inching closer to the top, a mere 4,000 units shy? It's the PSP with 40,000, just a tad bit below the DSi who has 44,000. The Xbox 360, meanwhile, edges out over PS2 with just 2,000 more units sold.

Gundam vs Gundam Next Plus - Image 1It looks like Namco Bandai has opted not to bring the giant robot action of Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs Gundam Next to the PS3 after all. They've chosen instead to stick to what works and have announced that a PSP port is coming.

Consoles - Image 1Well, Media Create's official Japanese hardware sales are out, and I'd have to say Famitsu pretty much had it down pat with their released estimates from yesterday, give or take a few couple of hundreds. Official numbers after the jump.

Consoles - Image 1Famitsu's estimates on the latest hardware sales figures from Japan puts the previously down-trodden PlayStation 3 Sony console to a nicer spot at the top. That's much nicer.

PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1The PSP Go, which Sony is apparently banking on to stop the rampant piracy on their handheld system, isn't even here yet but talk about another PSP revision is starting up again. These rumors never really stop, do they? At least the week also saw a few more big-name updates: a pair of bundles for Gran Turismo, a tighter release window for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, and what's this? Sibling rivalry between the Rising and Peace Walker teams?
