Team Noobz - Image 1Keeping tabs on our Who's Who QuickGuides? Let's see now - we've had the life and times of Dark AleX, the AhMazing AhMan, the silent but deadly MaTiAz, the free radical FreePlay, and the scene prodigy Davee. Now let's point the spotlight to one of the scene's most high-profile collection of superdevs. With their countless contributions to the grateful homebrew community and an unhappy Sony, it's only fitting that we pay tribute to "homebrew without a clue" - the great irony known as Team Noobz.

QuickJump QuickPeek - Image 1It was a very pre-mature knock out for Britain's Ricky Hatton in his "fight" against the Pacman, Manny Pacquiao, and I say that's a darned good way to end this week in gaming news (the astounding fight, I mean, not Hatton's shocking cuddle time with the floor), which, in itself also saw an intense fight in and out of the ring. From big games' updates to last-minute reveals, this edition of the QuickJump QuickPeek is a definite winner. And we've got it all stored here for you. Quick as a flash, like the Pacman's deciding left hook.

FreePlay - Image 1The homebrew community sure has a lot of memorable icons, each one of them quirkier than the next. Enter FreePlay. Yes, I'm sure you've heard of him - what with talks of the PSP-3000 exploit pervading the air recently, FreePlay's name has been thrown around a lot these days. So, following last week's Who's Who QuickGuide on MaTiAz, we now venture into the GripShift exploit's other half. How well do you know this free radical, anyway? His influence in the homebrew community runs deeper than you think!

psp homebrewHere's yet another game budding from MaTiAz and FreePlay's monster of an exploit, the GripShift Sparta exploit. This new homebrew game is an R-Type clone, a side-scrolling space shooter I'm sure some of you are more than familiar with.

psp homebrewFor those who've been hounding the developers about the European GripShift exploit, here you go. Just as PSPGEN promised, they've now released their own version for the binary loader. Meanwhile, for those who want to wait for MaTiAz and FreePlay (and Noobz!)'s version for the European exploit, they're still working on it. Just wait, and it'll arrive.

psp exploitThough the original exploit and Sparta SDK that MaTiAz found on GripShift works on the NA, EU, and JAP versions of the game, the binary loader doesn't. They're currently working on all that (Go MaT! Go FreePlay! Go Noobz!), and so far, they've actually already pretty much solved the European version of the exploit.

Gripshift - Image 1 If you want some cash, go on eBay and sell your copy of GripShift.

The PSP scene's getting stir-crazy over the exploit found in GripShift. eBay listings for the game are getting craaaazy bids. There's one listing that already received a bid for US$ 99.99.
