Yongobongo is back with another iteration of his yPaint image editing application for PSP, which is now on version 5.00 Beta. He's added a lot of things to this one, so people using the previous version may want to try it out:
Lastly, he's also put up a contest for people to win more QJ Points on our forums. His call for excellent photoshoppery writes, "Also, i am offering 200,000 QJ forum points for the best yPaint theme! It can be anything, even based off Paint or Photoshop or something." All you have to do is visit the forum link below and post a screenshot of your theme to join. Enjoy the app, and don't forget to check the readme, alright?! Download: yPaint v5.00 Beta Visit: PSP Development Forums |

UPDATE: Fuzzie 360 has updated his homebrew game Bumper Car Mayhem, He mentions that the update brings a new menu and that "file structure is changed please refrain from overwriting old files, instead delete then copy". You could download the updated version of the game through our download link below.
Download: Bumper Car Mayhem (updated) Any homebrew coding competition brings a lot of good things to the community. For one, it gives users several good quality games that can be played on their PlayStation Portable (PSP) units. There are other reasons we can think of but the most important one is that these events serve as venues where coders can showcase their talents. Take for example the case of NeoFlash's Spring Coding Competition. In case you are not aware, the event is currently on-going and will end on March 20. We have seen a few of the entries already, with each one belonging to different genre. For this one, we would like to feature Bumper Car Mayhem. We guess we've all ridden bumper cars when we were younger. So this homebrew game from coder Fuzzie 360 will definitely invoke a lot of childhood memories from all of us - the speed, the impact, the laughter... Before we get too sentimental here, take note that the objective of Bumper Car Mayhem is to drive in a full rotation isometric world and smash the opponent to win. Fuzzie 360 provided a link to an online flash game that isn't really representative of the PSP homebrew game. But for those who want to see it, the Read link should take you there. As for handheld users, the controls are as follow:
