Brother/sister (no, not really) duo The White Stripes will be making their Rock Band debut next week via a track pack featuring three of their songs. For the handheld rhythm gamers, No Doubt and Dropkick Murphys are also on the way to Rock Band Unplugged's in-game music store.

This week on the US PlayStation Store: The video store is getting new and improved content starting today - count theatrical trailers, movie bonus footage and free TV episodes into that list. As for the DLC, there's a truckload for BlazBlue and Cross Edge - if you're playing those, you'd want to take a look. The PSOne classic, Bloody Roar, is also making a comeback today, Hugo and the gang ought to add some flavor to fighting game fans. The rest of the list is just a click away.

Five new tracks are set for download in Rock Band Unplugged's in-game music store. Once again, these tracks span disparate genres -- from country to alternative rock to Texas blues. Hit the jump for the list.

Just like Chaos and Cosmos fighting over control of the balance, Amazon and GameStop will be fighting over control of the Dissidia: Final Fantasy sales. If Cosmos called upon the Final Fantasy heroes to meet their Chaos nemeses, the two retailers will also have aces up their respective sleeves to turn the tide over to their side. Rock Band Unplugged is all set and rarin' to go (is in fact leaked already) as the full track list and DLC are revealed. There are a wide range of music to choose from, spanning five rockin' and rollin' decades, with the first batch of ten DCL tracks coming your way via the in-game music store once the game hits you on June 9, 2009.

You may or may not know the name Norihiko Hibino. For those who don't know him, he's the guy responsible for the cinematic and in-game music in the Metal Gear Solid games. Now, why is he so important? It's because his body of work has inadvertently revealed some new game titles for the PS3, PSP, and Xbox 360.

The Hollywood Music Awards hailed the greats of mainstream and indie artists once again, and thankfully, giving video game music a slice of the pie. Inside are the winners for "Best Original Score," "Best Original Song," and "Outstanding Music Supervision" of the video game category.

The PlayStation Store for the PC and PS3 has just been updated and it carries a slew of trailers, demos, music and the very interesting Fatal Inertia EX full game.
