Sony will be crashing X Games 13 as the world's most popular event for extreme sports will be sponsored by the giant company. More than 150 of the world's best will be duking it out for medals, prize money, and fame in BMX Freestyle, Moto X, skateboard and surfing. What's a Sony sponsored event without promotions? The Xperience will host the PlayStation Experience for all sports fans to check out games that will hit the PSP, PS2, and PS3. Free demos, high-def movies, and game trailers are also up for grabs from PSN. This year's X Games will be held in Los Angeles. During the event where stars are born and when unbelievable tricks are getting nailed non-stop, crowds go crazy and the heat goes up to an entirely new level. The best way to take a break is by heading over Sony's space to find games you'll want to take home. |

Sega of America's Sonic Rivals 2 will allegedly be released on November 6 on the PlayStation Portable for US$ 39.99. This game is the sequel to Sonic Rivals which was also released on the said system. The release date and its announcement has been reported by various sources such as Game Informer and Game Trailers but until we get word from Sega themselves, we aren't confirming it. If this game is anything like the first one, then you can expect it to be a blast to play. Hopefully, they'll fix up the problems that plagued the first such as the rafter iffy level design. In the original Sonic Rivals, Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Silver Sonic, and Metal Sonic were playable. This newer iteration will hopefully add in some new characters to the mix rather than just sticking with these five and the four support characters. As of now, very little is known about the game but hopefully, there'll be more news about it. Be sure to keep checking back here for more information on this game. |

We've just been informed that Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has updated the PlayStation Store. As usual, classics, as well as PlayStation 1 (PSOne) titles, are available for download alongside a couple of film and video game trailers.
Take note that the PSOne titles listed below are both playable on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation Portable (PSP). You can purchase them for US$ 5.99 each but PSP owners who already dl'd the games before can download them again for free. The titles are as follows:
Finally, here are the trailers that can be downloaded for no extra charge:

For those who love the classic turn-based RPG titles (like this writer), then you're probably on the look out for Final Fantasy I's remake on the PSP. You're in luck though, because we found two gameplay videos for the overhauled classic from Game Trailers.
Square Enix's Final Fantasy I Anniversary Edition certainly looks good after the makeover and gameplay is how we remember it. The first trailer feature the game's cinematic opening and the start of the warriors of light's adventure. We also see starting city of Cornelia. The second video feature the city Pravoka and a wilderness battle with ogres and zombies. We'll quit with the babble for now and let you watch the videos. Enjoy! The other gameplay video right after the jump! |
