bit - Image 1Here's some good news for you all, homebrew developer Art has released a new update for Bitmap Hunter. This homebrew app is designed to search and directly edit monochrome, 256 color or 16 bit bitmaps within firmware files for quick customization. The new update now supports 16 bit color mode and added more features.

PSP homebrew - Image 1Homebrew developer Art is back with another piece of homebrew goodness for the PlayStation Portable. This one's called Bitmap Hunter and it lets users hunt for and directly edit monochrome or 256 colour bitmaps within firmware files for quick customization. PSP Weekend Warrior - Image 1Developer support for the PlayStation Portable continued to grow this past week, what with some new announcements regarding new titles for the Sony handheld and updates on the games we already know are coming. Not everything's been apples and rainbows though: rumors about a PSP port of the Ghostbusters video game was flat out debunked by Atari. We also got teased with more PSP support that we won't ever get to see unless we move to Japan. But enough chitchat. Let's get this thing rolling!

Maplus - Image 1I know it's pretty tough to hear of something and want it so bad yet have little to no means of getting - much less getting to use it to its full potential. But, for those that do live in Japan, Edia Co. Ltd. has announced that they'll be releasing the third version of their Maplus GPS software come July 9. Navi 3 will have 3D rotateable maps, MP3 player functionality, among others.
