It seems like Sony has done it again as the PlayStation Portable has once again dominated the sales charts in Japan for yet another week. On the flip side of things, five new video game titles have wedged themselves into the top slots of the software market. Continuing the long standing tradition of Gundam titles on various platforms, Namco Bandai delivers yet another game in the franchise by introducing Gundam Battle Universe for the PlayStation Portable. The new title inserts itself as the direct sequel to Gundam Battle Chronicle, which was released a little more than half a year ago. For more details, check out our full article after the jump.

With the release of Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G last week, it's no surprise that it became this week's chart topper on the Media Create Japan software sales list. The highly anticipated Monster Hunter title for the PlayStation Portable bumps off last week's number one title, Pokemon Ranger: Batonnage. The Japan software sales figures are in and it looks like Sega's Yakuza 3: Kenzan! has been displaced from the number one slot as Nintendo's DS Beautiful Letter Training enters the fray. If you've been following the sales charts, you'll notice that there are quite a number of changes in the rankings although fan favorites such as Wii Fit are still holding their own against the newcomers. The Japan Media Create software sales charts for the week ending on March 9 have been revealed. When Banpresto announced that Super Robot Taisen Advance would be getting ported to Sony's PlayStation Portable, a lot of gamers became really excited at the prospect of seeing this classic title with better graphics.
