Dragoneer's Aria is shaping up to be an impressive game, if only because you can capture a monster's soul and use it on the battlefield. We certainly like the idea, because it brings to mind demonic Pokemon, so we've got a handy trailer of Dragoneer's Aria for you to watch that explains the process.
According to the trailer, you're supposed to keep killing monsters until an avatar of a said monster appears. Basically, you have to find avatars of monster souls and kill them to receive the monster soul for yourself. Once you have the monster soul, you can equip it and summon it at your leisure. From kobolds to mermen, and even Black Dragons, you can summon them all, so long as their souls are yours. In any case, the video explains it better than we ever could. Watch the vid and know more about Hit Maker and NIS America's Dragoneer's Aria, alright? |

With the exception of phoenixes, nothing is more impressive than a dragon. Heck, if you're not fighting one in an RPG, you're probably going to be part-dragon, right? So an aria of the Dragoneer doesn't seem like so much of a stretch, at least in the eyes of Nippon Ichi Software, NIS America, and Hit Maker. As far as we can decipher from the Japanese text, your main enemy in Dragoneer's Aria is going to be the baddest of black dragons, who messed up the Six Dragon Festival for some inexplicable reason. You can bet that in addition to fighting dragons, you'll be recruiting some of your own for summoning purposes, so this definitely means you'll be seeing a ton of action for this handheld game. In the meantime, why not enjoy the screens. We've got 18 of them for you, with half showing off portions of certain in-game events, and the other showing off the action in battle screens. Enjoy! The last time we saw Dragoneer's Aria was the announcement, trailer, dev interview, and the character art (that was a lot in one post). This time, the joint forces of Nippon Ichi, NIS America, and Hit Maker have launched the official site of the upcoming RPG videogame for the PlayStation Portable. The site's still a bit bare, but it has some info about Dragoneer's Aria. It indicates that the title will include multiplayer support for two to four players. It's still unrated but is still scheduled for a summer release this year. We'll have to wait for the site to update to check out the story, characters, system, and special pages. We'll keep you posted on more updates regarding Dragoneer's Aria. In the meantime, why don't you check out the official site by clicking the via link below? |

How much did you like video games like Aedis Eclipse and Disgaea Portable? If the answer is "very much," then you might want to check out this new addition to the PSP RPG titles list. From the join efforts of Hit Maker, NIS America and Nippon Ichi comes Dragoneer's Aria. We got two videos from GameSpot, a trailer for Dragoneer's Aria and the other is an interview with Yukihiko Hojo and Hiroyuki Maruhama.
Yukihiko Hojo is the CEO of Hit Maker (a subsidiary of Sega) and producer for Dragoneer's Aria, Hiroyuki Maruhama on the other hand is the chief technical and development officer. They talked about the possibilities of the PSP and traditional RPG games. They would be using the lessons of Blade Dancer (particularly the things they missed), their previous title to improve Dragoneer's Aria. The trailer showcases the opening Dragoneer's Aria, featuring the characters and a bit of a primer on the story. The PSP game is set for a summer release this year and we'll keep you posted on more info about this one. Stay tuned. Check out the trailer and the character art after the jump! |

The official trailer for Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light has just been released from NIS America. Currently being developed by Hit Maker and SCE Studios Japan, Blade Dancer is a fantasy RPG with an authentic anime style. Taking the role of Shane, you'll come across a girl named Ferris who is in dire need of your help. Blade Dancer includes fully 3D fields with a more selective random encounter system. The new Crafting System will allow you to combine items in order to make new ones, and you'll have to do a lot of experimenting to find the best recipes. The game will also support networking systems for up to four players. Blade Dancer is planned for release on July 18 in the US.Download: [Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light Official Trailer] |
