Jane Cavanagh - Image 1People say Jane Cavanagh, the founder of the SCi Entertainment Group, has just released the company's 2007 annual report where they revealed that sequels to the Tomb Raider, Hitman, and some of their other IPs are in development. There's an uneasy air surrounding its emergence, however, since SCi's own investors called for the ousting of Cavanagh a few months ago. To find out more, head on over to the full article.

Video Games - Image 1Worried about the possibility of video game violence tainting the minds of children, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy came up with a "do not buy" list of violent video games.

Contrary to what most might expect, Rockstar Games' controversial Manhunt 2 (Wii, Sony PlayStation Portable) isn't the number one violent video game, but Grand Theft Auto is. Check out the Top Ten list in the full article.

Killing Time (24/7) features violence, partial nudity, and adult themes. Now this is a pretty interesting way to get your movie to the public. John Lamond Jr. and the folks at Sukhumvit Films are releasing the entirety of their movie for free download onto your PSP.

You read that right. An entire feature film for download.

The film, "Killing Time (24/7)," is the story of Jake, a professional hitman who does nothing but hang out with friends and enjoy the company of women between jobs: a dead-end life, if you could call it that. In this strange tale, Jake finds the monotony of his occupation disrupted when he finds out, a bit late, that his next job is to assassinate his father.

If it isn't obvious yet, you can definitely tell that this is going to have mature themes involved. Their synopsis calls it "a gritty nihilistic look at modern-day amoral, materialistic city living." We just call it a cool way to let the public know about a movie.

While the movie is free, there is a link for donations on their website if you happen to like the film. They're also coming out with a DVD of the film with extra features for those who want to watch the film on a bigger screen. Until we get more word on this feature film, you'll just have to kill some time yourself by watching the trailer, or you can check out their website for the large download file. Enjoy!

Ramirez

Ramirez Cruz is one angry Mexican. He lives in the somewhat disreputable town of Los Toros. Ramirez Cruz does not eat Chili con Carne for breakfast, lunch nor supper. He wants something more spicy and hotter. What Ramirez wants is Chili con Carnage.

Such is the title of the upcoming high action title from Eidos Interactive. The UK-based publisher-developer is well known for successful series such as Tomb Raider, Legacy of Kain and Hitman among others. For their latest shooter game, Eidos ask the help of Deadline Games.

In case you are wondering just how Ramirez Cruz is angry, Deadline Games CEO Chris Mottes shares: "It's the biggest explosion frequency and the highest takedown rate you will ever experience on the PSP." All in all, the game offers 19 missions across 7 different locations plus four game modes. Also, characters include mustachioed mercenaries, megalomaniacal crime-lords and chemically mutated super-Mama’s.

Chili con Carnage is currently under development and we will be sure to update you as soon as new details about the game come out.
