Things were pretty quiet on the PSP blog this week. Some good news still managed to filter through, though: There's a new Monster Hunter entry in the works, Kojima Productions is still cranking out the demos to tweak Peace Walker even further, and there's  new LocoRoco game out. Of course, you gotta take the good with the bad: we also got news of Fireteam Bravo 3 getting delayed this week.

When Hideo Kojima wrote on his blog, promising that he'll work on the next installment to Zone of the Enders, interests piqued by the news were not limited to the ZOE fans. Apparently, the news is so big that even his own staff, the folks at Kojima Productions, are showing much interest in working on ZOE.

After Hideo Kojima finishes working on his last pair of Metal Gear Solid games (or so it seems for now), the A-list producer will have more time on his hands to work on other games. For the fans of his other brainchild, Zone of the Enders, (I'm looking at you, papajag, TheRockness) good news: Kojima posted on his blog that he would be working on the next ZOE...someday.

Speaking to the European PlayStation Blog in an interview, Hideo Kojima gave some more gameplay info about his next Solid masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. After this one and Metal Gear Solid: Rising (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), however, the real Big Boss behind Metal Gear Solid is set to leave the franchise in the hands of his younger colleagues at Kojima Productions, leaving the creative genius wide open for new games.

This week's issue of Famitsu has a new feature about Hideo Kojima's next opus,Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The mag discusses two new features integrated into the PSP game: Vocaloid software integration and interactive cutscenes.

Let's face it. No matter how badly we may want to, not all of us can just go to Japan and get some hands-on time with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. For the lucky few, however, Kojima Productions has detailed the playable demos they're bringing to TGS 09.

Worried that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will not have enough single-player experience, or if there will even be one at all? Put your worries to rest cos Sean Eyestone of Kojima Productions has confirmed that there will indeed be a single-player mode.

Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker made another big splash at the events circuit this week during the ongoing GamesCom at Cologne. The game was shown off during the event via a 9-minute-long video that gave out a few more insights into the gameplay, particularly Peace Walker's co-op structure. Check out the vid after the jump.

Earlier today, Konami and Kojima productions revealed the games that they'll be taking to GamesCom. Apart from showing off what these games have to offer, the publishers also promise special presentations of the games, and maybe they'll be sitting down for interviews as well.
