Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer - Image 1PSP Homebrew Developer LogiKz is back with Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer, now with a GUI. In LogiKz's own words, it "installs all the essential cheat programs [...] in a clean and satisfying way." The program gives you the option to choose between (or all) of three cheat apps.

That's the Joke - Image 1Here's something we don't see everyday: a rather mean-spirited piece of homebrew that has a moral lesson to all PSP owners at the very end. That lesson being that asking questions first and shooting later can save your life - and your PSP. Yes, it's the PSPrank - Hidden Menu from none other than developer LogiKz, who brought us the Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer.

So what does PSPrank - Hidden Menu actually? First off, it presents itself as "Hidden Menu" in the Game Menu. Naturally, curious cats will wonder just what this hidden menu yields, and thus will access it.

A disclaimer will then pop up, asking them if they want to continue or not by pressing either X or the Right Trigger, respectively. Pressing either will execute a series of panic-inducing screens that will freak out any user, and will either cause them to either (a) cry in fright or (b) drop the PSP like a hot potato.

After the ordeal is over, a simple message of sage advice is displayed: "To research items before trying stuff or else this could really happen." Which holds true for any situation, really, even with a rude awakening such as this.

There's also a neat extra feature that LogiKz put in that lets you input your name and a personalized message that will pop up to the pranked user after he or she accesses the Hidden Menu. Cruel, yet very satisfying.

PlayStation Portable - Image 1PSP homebrew developer LogiKz dropped by the QJ.NET Forums earlier to announce the latest release of the Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer pack. The application's version 3 (this release) contains more bug fixes, a new CWCheat database, and several now-automated functions:
  • Automatically Finds the PSP's Drive Letter [Got MUCH Help from AceHack]
  • Auto Detects what programs you already have so it won't overwrite anything
  • Includes a Special DataBase for CwCheat from the Pro Hacker Black_Wolf
  • Fixed 2 bugs that could have rendered the program useless
This particular release is a coordinated effort between LogiKz and AceHack and is reported to work on custom firmware 3.40 OE/LE. Full installation and usage instructions should be available in the file bundle's readme. Or, you can opt to drop by LogiKz's release thread over at QJ.NET Forums.

Again, upon LogiKz request, kudos goes to AceHack for aiding LogiKz efforts.

PlayStation Portable - Image 1

PSP-PC coder LogiKz has just released the newest version of his Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer pack. There are a number of additions since the last release, the pack now includes five features plus their respective activate buttons:
This release, version 2, also showcases a nifty feature where the program takes your PSP's set-up and plugins into account and adds the needed lines for you if you already have the game.txt file. If you don't have it yet, Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer v2 will create the said text file and add the lines for you.

LogiKz indicated that you will need 3.40 OE to be able to run all of the programs to work on your PSP. Installation is pretty simple. Extract the files on your desktop, open the folder and run Easy Ultimate Cheat Installer v2, then activate all the plugins while in Recovery Mode (hold R when booting).

Anyway, check out the release thread by clicking the link below. We advise so since the release doesn't come with a readme, so if you have any question, you can ask LogiKz himself. Also, if you're a cheat dev and you're interested in LogiKz creating an easy installer for you, feel free to give him a ring.

PSP Homebrew - Image 1LogiKz has released version 2 of Disk PsP, an application for Windows XP that lets PlayStation Portable owners customize their PSP's drive letter and label. Disk PsP can also be used for other types of removable storage devices such as removable disk drives.

This app also lets users create a desktop shortcut that points straight towards their PSPs, letting them set up hotkeys for their PSPs. It's a handy application for those who aren't too confident about configuring autorun.inf and those who, for some reason or another, don't want or know how to format and label their removable disk drives.

For installation instructions, please see the readme file included in the download below. You can also click on the Visit link to report any bugs, give out a few suggestions or ask the developer any questions.

Sony PlayStation Portable - Image 1PSP homebrew developer LogiKz dropped by the QJ.Net Forums earlier to announce the release of an application built specifically to run with Cheat Master 0.6c. The app in question is an Easy Installer program, and should make the process of uploading aeolusc's game memory editor/cheat tool prx mod easier for the newer PSP owners out there.

Before you get cracking, make sure to do the following:
  1. Make a folder Called CheatMaster on the root of your memory stick.
  2. Make a folder Called SEPlugins on the root of your memory stick if you dont already have one.
  3. Run the installer, and go to your recovery menu and enable cheatmaster.prx
After following those steps, running CheatMaster on your games (non-homebrew) should be a matter of pressing L+Note ("L" shoulder, Musical Note) to bring up the app's menu. That's all for the moment, though guys can find more info in the bundle's readme, and LogiKz's release thread here at our QJ.Net Forums.

Disk PsP - Image 1

Logikz recently released Disk PsP, a simple Windows XP program that'll change the drive letter of their PSP when it shows up on their computer.

According to Logikz, the homebrew application itself is simple to use, though only replaces the drive letter, rather than the entire line. As he explains it, "So instead of your psp saying "Removable Disk( J: )" it can say what ever letter you want like "Removable Disk( X: )".

To run the program, simply unzip the folder on your desktop, open the folder, and run Letter.bat. Enjoy!
