The London MCM Expo accomplished what it set out to do
this year, which
was to set a new world record for most video game cosplayers under one
roof. The recently-concluded Movie Comic Expo at the ExCel Center made
its gaming side headline-worthy once again, and this one is literally
heading for the books. |

While most of the coders out there work within the same circles, one of
them seems to be standing on the outside, causing his own storm of
sorts. External from most of the drama,
StrmnNrmn is happily living in his own world, giving us one of
the greatest homebrew emulator projects for the PSP: the Nintendo 64
emulator, Deadalus PSP. As a tribute to Daedalus' third year anniversary this month, here's your
QuickGuide for reminiscing (or catching up!) on the life and times of
StrmnNrmn so far. Strap into your seats, we're heading into the eye of
the storm! |

The London Movie Comic Media Expo isn't known for its gaming section,
with much of its attendees preferring other forms of entertainment. But
all that's gonna change this year, or improve at the very least,
because apart from the support of some of today's A-list publishers,
the London MCM Expo is attempting to set the World Record for "largest number of people in costume for a video game." |

It was in London that Square Enix talents Yoshinori Kitase and Takeshi
Arakawa answered questions from curious fans about the famed Final
Fantasy series, while promoting - but not limiting the discussion to - Dissidia.
IGN was fortunate enough to have been able to present some questions
from the fans, and what they got were a very interesting outlook on the
series. |

It's final - nearly a month after Eidos shareholders approved the Square Enix takeover, court has finally approved the publisher's acquisition, making Lara Croft and Tomb Raider part of the Square Enix family, although it doesn't appear that Eidos' operations will be affected too much by the new arrangement. |

Played the demo for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce yet? For all you folks in London, here's something that's gonna be a bit better than that - the real thing. Koei teamed up with TokyoToys to have a Dynasty Warriors Day on April 18, 2009 at the London TokyoToys, where Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce will be playable before its release. That's right, you get to play with the Three Kingdoms early in the United Kingdom. More details in the full article. |
