The 27th annual Golden Joysticks Awards were announced in London earlier today, giving props to the games that shaped the industry in the past year. Sitting on top of them is Fallout 3 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) receiving top honors as the Ultimate Game of the Year. Read up and find out who else made it big in the awards. |

It's only been a day since Tekken 6 hit retail (officially, at least), and already it's making its way into the record books - the Guinness Book of World Records, in particular. Taking a look at the action down at the London MCM Expo over the weekend, Guinness officials crowned the new record holder for the longest Tekken 6 winning streak. |

Koei Tecmo has just confirmed their stint at the coming London MCM Expo on October 24th to the 25th, and to make it easier for all of us to get updates on their booth, they've just launched the official site specifically made for the expo. The booth will be featuring the best of what the now combined publishers have to offer, and we now know what they'll be taking along for the trip. Many thanks again to Peter Bauer! |

This sounds grim. Speakers at the upcoming London Games Conference are
forecasting that in three years' time, retail would have been
outstripped by digital distribution. Not only that, but 40% of the
companies in the games industry will be caught unprepared for this
shift in consumer choice. |

If you happened to be in Chessington, Surrey, over the weekend, then you might've spotted a big blue bus reminiscent of Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine. That big blue bus happens to the PSP Summer Tour Bus and it'll ride into different locations across England to spread some summer PSP fun with a few family-friendly PSP titles. Feel like having some gaming time with the family? Hit the link to find out more. |

The London MCM Expo accomplished what it set out to do
this year, which
was to set a new world record for most video game cosplayers under one
roof. The recently-concluded Movie Comic Expo at the ExCel Center made
its gaming side headline-worthy once again, and this one is literally
heading for the books. |

While most of the coders out there work within the same circles, one of
them seems to be standing on the outside, causing his own storm of
sorts. External from most of the drama,
StrmnNrmn is happily living in his own world, giving us one of
the greatest homebrew emulator projects for the PSP: the Nintendo 64
emulator, Deadalus PSP. As a tribute to Daedalus' third year anniversary this month, here's your
QuickGuide for reminiscing (or catching up!) on the life and times of
StrmnNrmn so far. Strap into your seats, we're heading into the eye of
the storm! |
