You know what comes next after the European PS Store Update, yes? That's right, it's the US PS Store Update for the week of July 2, 2009. And it's a hefty one to serve you fine too, in time for the 4th of July weekend. So in case you're feeling a little lethargic to join in on the festivities, at least you'll have something else to do to keep you busy. Among those stashed in this week's goodie bag are add-on packs for MotorStorm Pacific Rift, Cross Edge, the Capcom Classics Collection Remixed for the PSP Store and more. Full list after the jump.

The European PlayStation Blog was launched earlier, while the US blog still happily spreads the joy around with the goods. This week on the PlayStation Store comes the classic Resident Evil Director's Cut on PSone classics, Sackboy gets more costume packs, and loads of FREE DLC. Yep, lots of great freebies in this update, now read the list, turn your PS3 on and get-a-downloadin'!

Big day today for aspiring LittleBigPlanet creators. There's a new free pack containing some creation tutorials on the US PlayStation Store. Should be useful for those who want to learn more about creating their own stages in LittleBigPlanet. The PSP version of the PlayStation Store still continues to be sparse, but at least there's a new downloadable game there in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters. Europe's PSN update for this week has gone llive. The usual suspects are there (DLC packs for LBP, GH, and RB), but if you guys want something bigger, there are three new PSN titles (and two new PS3 game demos!), as well as more downloadable games for the PSP.

This week on the European PlayStation Store - PixelJunk Eden Encore is now up, that goes the same for the FEAR 2: Project Origin Multiplayer Map Pack. More songs pack in for Guitar Hero and Rock Band, as always, and if you've been waiting for SackBoy's new Monkey King look, you can get it now. Complete list in the full article.

You know the drill by now when it comes to PlayStation Store updates: new LittleBigPlanet costumes, new Rock Band and Guitar Hero tracks, and more new stuff to buy for the games you've already paid for. Oh, and some freebies too. One thing of note is a price update for Resistance: Fall of Man. All map packs for the game are now free.

It's Christmas every week at Sony's PlayStation Store as they regularly bring us new goodies to enjoy. This week sees a lot more game content such as the action packed time traveling game, Linger in Shadows, and free demos that you wouldn't want to miss. There are also some new tunes from Offspring for your Rock Band needs, and then some more.

The US PlayStation Network update for this week is now available. And yes, finally, the Mercenaries 2 demo is live - they probably got stuck in traffic along the way - as well as the demo for Fracture. PSP owners also get two downloadable titles this week, both from D3 Publisher: PQ and Cube.

More handheld Counterstrike-inspired madness has come our way in the latest homebrew mod based on the CSPSP game by Nataku92. Coded by Top Pro and Xiphirx, the Counterstrike PSP 1.56 - Source (CSPSP-S) mod includes many gameplay features from the original title and more.
