Jackass: The Game was previewed at this years E3 expo in LA, and will allow gamers to perform stunts similar to those from MTV's TV series from the safety of their console. The game is due out in November for both a handheld and a home console – possibly the PlayStation and the PlayStation Portable, though developer Sidhe Interactive will not confirm this.

Sidhe is a relatively new company, but with 9 years of business, and PSP titles such as Gripshift behind them, which sold around 100,000 copies worldwide, Managing director Mario Wynands hopes that the Jackass franchise will provide an opportunity for Sidhe "to tap into a much larger audience than we have before. It's quite possible this game could sell more units than all our other previous game titles put together"

Due to the nature of the game Wynands anticipates a 'mature' rating for the game in the US, as Sidhe try to "create a game that's true to the licence". Players will also be able to play around with a Directors mode, allowing gamers to save replays, and replay them with different camera angles and trade them with friends.

Although this title hasn't been confirmed for the PSP, with Sidhe Interactive's Gripshift background, it's very likely. The ability to trade replays could also be an indication of PSP Ad-Hoc connectivity.
