Aside from the PSP homebrew games and applications
that we try our best to dish out to you, you gotta admit that PSP
magazines are also making our lives less boring. Not only does it
accompany us in an idle day or a boring car ride, the mags also add a
lot of images in our imagination bank- images that are perfect company
at almost anytime of the day or night. The best thing about them PSP
mags? You need not own a PSP to see most of them, so more access means
more vivid imaginations. As to what images pops in your head while
reading them, well, that's your call.
So here we are making sure that you didn't miss out on the four most grabbed PSP magazines for the October 2-October 13 period. The stats are of course based on our DL.QJ data, so if you haven't browsed through them, well now's your opportunity to deposit on your imagination bank or to feel certain reactions. So without anymore interruptions, here are the top 4 grabbed PSP magazines. In every countdown, we start the ball rolling by mentioning the tail ender of the list, in this case, our fourth placer is the maiden issue of The PSP Insider. It seems that people love what the PSP Insider crew has dished out, such as interview with homebrew dev Zx-81 and a feature on Exophase's gPSP, a GBA emulator program for the PSP handheld. They have infused new blood on the PSP magazine circuit and we could only hope that they don't lose their spunk with their coming issue. Download: [The PSP Insider #1] This is just the tip of the iceberg so we suggest that you take a look on the other three mags that made the list. So go ahead and click on 'Full Article' to see if the magazine of your choice made the cut. |

Trick or Treat yourself to another juicy issue of "Maxim" for your PSP. It's the Halloween issue, and everything is candy-coated with sugar and spice. You've got your femme fatale Vanessa Minnillo, 10 gorgeous Miss Maxim Worldwide 2006 babes, and... (drumroll please)... the "Deal or No Deal" suitcase girls. Now that's something to seal the deal, huh? Speaking of which, remember that Deal or No Deal homebrew? If you've already packed your PSP with that game, now you can have the suitcase girls as well. It's 36pages of chicks, flicks (as in movies), and... err, more chicks. 'Nuf talking, more staring. Happy Halloween. Download: [Maxim October 2006] |

Well here's something to stick in your PSP hard drive. Perooz.com has been making mobile versions of magazine for quite a long while now, and so readers have come to expect a lot of eye candy from them. They came out with their August 2006 Maxim issue recently, editing the information to get only the important stuff from the mag (the articles, of course!), and formatting them to read well on the screen of the PSP. The pictures are big enough for your tastes, though you may need to rotate your PSP for centerfold shots, and the text on the interviews featured in the mag is easy to read. Editing-wise, the August 2006 edition of Maxim for the PSP looks very smooth, and it will definitely take care of many things gamers want these days. I wonder if someone will make an e-book with background music eventually though, as a port of the Silent Hill Translated Memories pages would rock, and perhaps just in time for SH: Origins. PS: Behave, or we'll disable comments, alright? Enjoy! |

Maxim Magazine is giving you three good reasons why you should bring your PSPs with you as you welcome the hot summer season: Veronica Varekova, Frankee, and Daniella Alonso. These sizzling babes will keep your summer days hot and the nights even hotter. Get more of the story in the June issue of Maxim for the PSP. Finders, Keepers: Most 19-year-olds spend their days stocking shelves at Blockbuster, but at that age Veronica ditched her home for New York City. She intended to study at Parsons School for Design, but like any woman with a perfect physique in the Big Apple, took to modeling. This and much more in this issue of MAXIM for your PSP... Thanks Chris for the heads up. |
