Think you've got the brains for coder Maxy_PSP's latest release? The dev team dropped by the QJ.NET forums earlier to announce the release of PSP Quizzer v.1.10. This homebrew game, which Maxy_PSP states was inspired by Kwastie's PSP-Quiz, will challenge players to a round of questionnaires. We've given this game a run, and we'd say that we recommend it to PSP owners who are new to the community. It carries 25 questions, all of which are about topics such as Sony, the PSP, and homebrew developers. Now, if you think you can come up with some good brainstorm-inducing questions of your own, you may want to visit the release thread over the QJ.NET PSP development forums. Who knows, your entry just might be included in the next update! Enjoy the download. Download: PSP Quizzer v.1.10 Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development forum |

Maxy_PSP dropped by the QJ.NET forums earlier to announce that they've completed work on PSP SystemInfo V.1.00. This application, also known as SystemChecker, will enable users to check on their PSP's basic system info. It also allows users to take a screenshot of their info and to adjust the CPU speed. SYStemInfo's version V.1.00 carries some new tweaks, including a revised screenshot layout. Screenshots taken of your system info removes the title and menu icon for this app, which conveniently places all your data on just one image. The app also displays more information, and now carries a config file that allows you to switch between Dutch or English. Guys who download this application may also want to visit the Maxy_PSP team's thread at QJ.NET forums for further discussions, or if they're interested in contributing to a German and French release. Maxy_PSP has released a new version of PSP SystemChecker. As mentioned in our post about this app's beta release, this little piece of homebrew provides PSP users with information about their PlayStation Portables. PSP SystemChecker also allows PSP users to change their unit's CPU speed and save the info displayed as an image file. This new release includes a number of bug fixes and a few new features. Maxy_PSP is also looking for people willing to translate PSP SystemChecker to German and French. If you want to help out, feel free to click on the Visit link below and let the devs know on our PSP Development forums. According to Maxy_PSP, PSP SystemChecker works with all custom firmwares including 3.71M33-2. For installation instructions, check out the readme file included in the download. New homebrew developer Maxy_PSP dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development forum and released another application called PSP SystemChecker. Much like its name implies, the program provides users with all the necessary information regarding their Sony PSPs. This release is still in Beta but we still find the program quite useful. Aside from giving normal information such as DevKit version, CPU speed, and battery status, PSP SystemChecker also lets users change the CPU speed of their PlayStation Portable. Anyway, Maxy_PSP included a Readme.txt file with PSP SystemChecker Beta. Read it first before doing anything to avoid any problems. Download: PSP SystemChecker Beta Visit: QJ PSP Development Forum |

The PSP homebrew team collectively known as Maxy_PSP dropped by the QJ.NET forums earlier to announce the release of their new PSP SystemRestore beta application. This application will enable PSP users to read up on their portable's system information in just a few button presses - it also allows for screenshots in case you'll want to keep a copy of your system settings on-hand. SystemRestore also enables you to adjust your PSP's CPU to either 222 or 333 MHZ. Maxy_PSP states that SystemRestore will work on all firmwares as Team M33's custom PSP firmware 3.71, though we advise users to take extra care in running this application. Guys interested in reading up on this app's full details are instructed to open up the readme included with the bundle, or to visit Maxy-PSP's release thread over at the QJ.NET forums. We imagine the team will appreciate any constructive feedback you've got to offer - they say this is their very first homebrew. Download: PSP SystemRestore beta Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development forum |
