Last month, Sony announced that they've sold about 10 million PSP units to Japanese retail. That figure, however, doesn't account for actual sales from the consumer. Today, we find out that that number has been breached. Nintendo has slowly been on the rise these past couple of weeks, based on the latest numbers sent in by the Media Create analyst group in Japan. The DS handheld once again took the top spot in the hardware charts, along with its respective software title Rhythm Tengoku Gold (known as Rhythm Heaven in North America). The Xbox 360 is more popular that the PlayStation 3 in the US, and the opposite is true in Japan. That's the way it's been for a long time, until the PS3 started outselling the 360 in the US this year.
