Never mind that we kinda missed out on LittleBigPlanet for the PSP in Sony's Press Conference yesterday. We've got 13 screenshots for you to enjoy, and it's right here for you. It feels like the calm before the storm is here. News has started to come in smaller amounts this week as we get closer and closer to next month's Electronic Entertainment Expo. Everybody's trying to keep their cards close to their vests so they can present the best E3 they can. Let's just all hope the awesome parts far outweigh the disappointing parts. Anyway, it may have been a bit of a slow news week, but that doesn't mean there was no news to speak of. Read on for the PSP Weekend Warrior.

Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has revealed a few of their plans for LittleBigPlanet, including a new web-based level-sharing portal and a beta test for upcoming features. And what's this? The PSP version of LBP is just "the first game"? More after the jump.

So LittleBigPlanet's got about as much as way over 500,000 user-generated levels since launch. To celebrate the milestone, SCE UK's established their official LBP YouTube page where they'll be posting some of their videos. To kick things off, they've come up with quite an ingenious little YouTube poop. Based off of the popular "Where the hell is Matt" videos, we now have "Where in the World is Sackboy!"

After the past couple of rumor-filled weeks, we have surprisingly little in the way of rumor mill handouts this past week. I didn't hear anything about PSP-4000s or PSP2s during the past week. Now I'm actually starting to miss David Perry. (no, not really). What we did get though are a lot of new games, both confirmed and unrevealed. We also get a weird little PSP tie-in from Sony and car manufacturer Citroen, another denial of the PSP Phone, and an admission from Sony UK that maybe, just maybe, UMD wasn't such a hot idea after all.

Not to be confused with the upcoming LBP PSP scheduled for late 2009, an all-new LittleBigPlanet game is apparently already being mulled over by Media Molecule! What could it be? Sackboy: Can I Really Be the Hero? Or Sackboy RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars? What about SackBoy Hero: World Tour? Here's a clue though: MM's Alex Evans promises that it's going to be "really f***ing cool!"

John Koller, SCEA's director of hardware marketing, has revealed that the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet will be staying true to the tenets of its PS3 big brother: playing, creating, and sharing. More from Koller after the jump.

The New Year is just about here... which means the majority of the QJ news team is out boozing it up, getting tipsy and declaring their love for each other between spurts of uncontrollable giggling. That doesn't mean they haven't left a few coherent words. Our own Gino D wanted to make a statement detailing his thoughts on new IP's, this year, and looking into the next.

It's time recognise those developers that really helped make this year something special for all of us gamers. A lot of hard work, sweat, dedication and long hours go into making the games we play, so here are a few words from us at QJ to say thanks, and keep up the good work.
