Heads up to the PSP homebrew community! Homebrew developer Yoshihiro is back to release a new update for his homebrew saving utility, Games Decrypter. The latest update fixes the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 bug brought about by the previous release and now, almost all games that requires the OFW 5.55 can be patched using custom firmware 5.50GEN-B2.

Homebrew coder patpat has released a new update to CTFtool GUI, a homebrew application that allows you to create themes compatible with CXMB directly from your PC and extract them in CTF file format already created. The latest update now supports 5.03 CTF for PSP3000 and pspboot_plugin.prx.

Homebrew developer Yoshihiro has dropped by our forums to release XGEN UPDATER and XGEN pandora DC8 converter for the PSP. This handy tool will allow you to install CFW 5.50GEN-B2 directly on any PSP without a patch. It can also convert your DC8 kit to XGEN Pandora. More info after the break.

The latest  release, exclusive only for CFW M33 users as of the moment, features language support, custom encoding, image viewer, screenshot GUI, improved performance and auto backups, just to name a few.

Homebrew coder Total_Noob has released a revised version of Ultimate VSH Menu, an alternative plugin to replace the official VSH menu of custom firmware M33 and GEN. The excellent PSP plugin is now compatible with CFW 5.00 M33, 5.02GEN, 5.03GEN and the latest 5.50GEN.

Those who've already gotten their copies of Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days got a little worked up over a DLC-related error message that appeared in the game when saving or loading. Fear not, level-grinders! NIS America sent word that the error message will not harm your gameplay or any DLC you may download in the future. To prove that and to appease those who've been itching to hit Level 1000 already, they're handing out the game's first DLC free of charge.

Homebrew coder Migueliziosop has released a new update for PSPCleaner in time for the Scenery beta 2009. The handy homebrew utility that is designed to clean and delete files is now update to version 1.5. Notable features of the latest release includes stability upgrade, code cleanups and some other bug fixes.

Homebrew coder Moscas has released a new update for GoblinPSP, a multipurpose homebrew utility that allows you to manage your files, back up your data, launch programs, upgrade your custom firmware and manage your plugins The latest update has bumped up the homebrew to version 2.5.1.0.
