Developer uberjack has announced the release of a new build for the PSP port of the fMSX homebrew emulator. Version 3.5.3 addresses a sound issue that was causing some games to hang and also carries a new ROM tracking feature. Further details are available in the full article.

It looks like the persistent FMPAC issue in fMSX, uberjack's MSX emulator port for the PSP, has finally been fixed. A new fMSX release has just been rolled out, carrying with it a fix that will hopefully finally put the issue to rest. Details in the full article.

Akop Karapetyan, better known as uberjack around these parts has just released a new version of the PSP port of fMSX, now on 3.5.1. The PSP emulator for the retro gaming platform MSX sports a couple of improvements and some bug fixes. Check out the downloads below and the full article for more information.

If you're an emulator user, one of the most exciting bits of news you can get is that of the arrival of a long-awaited update to your favorite emulator. In the case of fMSX fans, emulator developer uberjack has some good news: fMSX 2.5.1 is coming up today. There's more to it than that, though. PSP homebrew developer zx-81 has released another build for the PSPMSX, bumping the version numbers to 1.2.3. According to the dev, this should be the last release, barring any major kinks in the emulator.

PSP homebrew coder uberjack (Akop Karapetyan) delivers on previous plans to fMSX - a homebrew emulator for the Sony MSX platform of the 1980s - with functional results. High-resolution capable fMSX version 3.4.5, an update from 3.4.1, also includes save state changes, works from Mitsutaka Okazaki's MSXMUSIC engine and Tatsuyuki Satoh's MSXAUDIO for emulation augmentation.
