Is it coincidence that developer Andrea Badiali (a.k.a. andbad) has released an update to Visual Application, now compatible with CFWs and the PSP Slim thanks to the Nanodesktop update.If you remember, Visual Application is the first third-party Nanodesktop program that provides applications like a text-to-speech synthesizer and MP3 graphical player. Developer Filippo Battaglia (Pegasus2000) has announced that Nanodesktop v0.3.2 is finished and ready for use. If you missed our previous coverage on this application, it is a Software Development Kit (SDK) which provides developers with a set of libraries that make it easier to code homebrew. This latest version of Nanodesktop implements most of the additions that Battaglia previously announced including the ndCurl and ndGCurl libraries which manage network connections and file transfers as well as the ndFlite vocal synthesis engine. In addition to this, coders will appreciate the new Media Application Program Interface (API) which allows the programmer to decode .WAV and MP3 files without using the main processor or external libraries.
