bumuckl and the rest of the Nitr0core team have just announced the release of their Motion Pong PSP homebrew game. It's a Pong title that makes use of motion sensitivity instead of the PSP's standard controls. In this case, the motion controls require you to have the NeoFlash Team's PSP Motion Kit. More details and a demo video for Motion Pong v0.1 are available in the full article. Download: Motion Pong v0.1 Visit: QJ.NET PSP Development Forum |

The NeoFlash team has just released a demo program for their new PSP accessory, the PSP Motion Kit. For those of you who missed the release of the accessory, the PSP Motion Kit, as the name suggests, allows the device to become motion sensitive. While it doesn't work with any retail games as of yet, nothing's stopping the homebrew scene from developing games and apps for the accessory. The new demo program from the NeoFlash team should give development a jumpstart. The source code for the program is also provided and can be downloaded below. The NeoFlash team has come out with a new accessory for the Sony PlayStation Portable called the PSP Motion Kit. This accessory works with all PSP Phats but not the PSP Slim.As the name suggests, the PSP Motion Kit is a motion sensing accessory for the PSP. It's tiny, is plug and play and doesn't need any kind of external power supply. Sadly, it doesn't seem to support any retail games in its current form. Homebrew games and applications are a go, though. You also need to plug it into the headphone jack, which could keep the PSP's speakers from working. An extra headphone jack built into the PSP Motion Kit would be a nice addition, and hopefully it's something that next iterations of this accessory will have. You can check it out by clicking on the Read link below. |
